ok but what the hell do you do for a living? Are you an immigration officer at the north pole? :rotfl:
  • Not using anything at all. I read a book which said that any nicotine replacement just prolongs the urge to smoke so it's best to just wake up one morning and just tell yourself that you are a non smoker and go from there!!

I think that's true. We've got a family friend who 'quit' smoking 20 years ago but was still chewing the gum until recently. He went and saw his doctor and they were discussing his general health, and the doctor then pointed out to him that nicotine still caused hardening of the arteries and it is still bad for you! He was so upset when he found that out...

I got the job I wanted and interviewed for yesterday. Yey!

Still no sign of that elusive Peak. I hope/doubt today is an implantation dip QQ - we DTD 5 days ago only! I have yet another stinking cold :(

Congratulations on the job 2b :j

Our bookcases are finally up and filled with books. They are really big but they look great! :j

I've not seen any blood today so I'm going to tempt fate and call it CD1 today :o Even though we are doing NTNP can I please go back on team sticky QQ? I'm a little scared/excited/nervous/frustrated about starting TTC again but hey ho we'll get to where we want to be in the end :o

I've changed the dates on the 'predictor' app on my phone, and now it has decided that I might not be due till Monday.

Which app do you use Sa-ra-ra-ra?
I'm obsessed with having an app for everything on my phone but not got a decent one for TTC yet!!

Congrats on the new job 2b - a lot of people have got new jobs lately - well done to you all!!
I've been looking for a new job for a while but nothing jumping out at me really. Also a bit scared of going somewhere new... Been at my current job for 9 years now and the Maternity Leave is pretty good. A bit sick of my job but am constantly weighing up the pros and cons of moving...
Stay in a job that I dont like but get good maternity benefits or move to a job that I might prefer and get the general statutory maternity leave.
