Morning. Mission BD has been started. After yesterdays blip we are back on target. Still no OV signs yet at CD14. OV test is still negative. Hoping that OV will happen mid-week next week, but we shall see.

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

Good morning all, hope everyone is good and looking forward to the weekend, I got my student card yesterday so will be hitting the shops to use my student discount!
Doctors visit went well yesterday, because I will be 39 in a few months she has decided to make a referral, she isn't sure what we will be eligible for on the NHS as I have the (not so wee) wee guy from a previous relationship, but I have to get bloods done on CD21, which I made an appointment for, and mrhappy has to see his own doc and get a sample in for analysis asap. Scary stuff-it all seems very serious now!
Hope everyone has a good day x

Still no AF and still BFN :( At the minute I am working on the basis that if my period hasnt come, then it wasn't due when I thought it was, and therefore the test may have been done too early. Am not sure though at what point that reasoning has to come to an end. I've had times in my life before when my periods have stopped, but I think I usually hang in the first half of my cycle, not the second. Can't really work out why I would have had a positive OPK but 16 days later still no AF.

Anyway, seeing gynae on Tuesday so if no AF by then, I can ask. OH asked last night what time the appointment is and has put it n his diary so I assume he is planning to come along. Not sure how I feel about that. On the one hand it will be nice to have some moral support, but on the other if, as I hope, there is some discussion about what went wrong with the last pregnancy, I will feel vulnerable having that discussion in front of him if the "fault" was on my side. I still remember now with a sickening feeling an appointment with a new fertility specialist about 12 years ago, when he turned the screen to my husband while scanning me, and said "See, her ovaries are pathetic, no wonder you haven't been able to get pregnant" :( The irony is that we did actually get pregnant on that cycle after 6 long years of trying, but I still remember that comment.

I still, 14 years later, remember the nurse at the hospital when I went for my D&C after the miscarriage of my twins telling me 'Well, don't worry it's gods way, it just wasn't meant to be'... with a shrug of the shoulders.

My heart was breaking and that absolutely wasn't what I wanted to hear.

(((hugs to everybody who has suffered a mc)))))

Totally agree I got told after my ERPC and having a fit for two hours in the recovery room due to the drugs that "this ward was full of ladies who has MC'd that is was normal":mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I could have slapped the B1tch if I had the energy. They wanted to keep me in but I refused and signed myself out for DH to look after me.

I get very angry with the medical profession when it comes to MC's. The reality is that they are common I know that . But they don't feel that way when it happens to you. I am glad that my GP has been amazing on both occasions that I have MC'd but it doesn't stop me remembering my angels not meant for this earth. :A
If you can think it........it will happen

Oooh, ooh, can I guess 7 this month please?

In fairness to the NHS, I have to say that everyone we dealt with was very good - particularly the sonographer and primary EPU nurse. I think we were farily pragmatic about it all (although clearly bl00dy upset); I suppose we're just thinking that it's nature's way of ensuring that most of us get perfect babies.

Although clearly trying very hard again this month ;)

QQ, no pics really - DH took a couple on his phone but since we moved I've had some problems locating my camera... so we're just not taking photos at the moment! We had a really good time though, it was very relaxing.

Oh my god thats awful. But maybe your hubby should be there, so he can slap the next person who says anything like that!! Thats just horrible. What was your DHs reaction when he heard that? Hopefully whatever happens it will be a good thing that he is there with you, for support.

On another note, my temp was much higher this morning and as ovulation is approaching that is irritating but thought that would happen. Anyway Im off to the south coast to get on the beach for the weekend, cant believe Im doing that in October! :)

Spoke to soon! Back to the bottom of the list for me please QQ.

Am off to dust off my CBFM. I've checked and it still works, batteries are OK and I have new sticks. Just need to reset it, and then start from tomorrow, as AF turned up too late for my preferred testing window. Fortunately I have an old out of date stick left over from when I was trying for DS2 3 years ago (I really need to improve my housekeeping!) so don't need to waste an expensive new one to reset it.

Just a quick update from me. AF arrived yesterday so CD2 for me today. I am a little disappointed but not really that surprised. I didn't really think it would happen on the first try and my last AF was really withdrawal from the pill not a proper one. I think we'll be in with a better chance this month. I'm glad I didn't bother to waste money on testing early anyway. Going out for a curry tonight so will enjoy that and a glass of two or wine (diet starts Monday when I go back to work ha, ha).
