I took a pregnancy test this morn, waited the 3 minutes specified and it was negative.
Was emptying my bathroom bin a mo ago, and the same test was showing positive. I read the box again and it says "read the result no more than 15 mins after doing the test." Is the fact that it showed positive 7 hours after taking the test to do with the fact that I read the result for a second time after 15 mins, or could I actually be pregnant?
This happened to me last Sunday with FMU - every test since has been negative so mine was def an evap line - i wanted to get excited but couldn't and Im glad I didnt because it did turn out to be nothing Im sad to say -! still no AF but will def be BD'ing this weekend to try and bring it on! I just cant see how I could be pg now Ive had so many Neg HPT's this week....:(0 -
Started a few conversations with OH last night. Men & women are from different planets - my thoughts were how would we deal with childcare, differnt types of holiday, changes at home etc. His was around would a baby stop him playing sport at a weekend! Sigh.
He was far more 'touchy feely' than normal - don't mean in a wanting sex way, just in a nice, caring way. I think that was his way of showing keeness - but without actual talking about wanting a baby!
We made the decision at the weekend to TTC & he had been away since then, last night was the first time we were back together.
CD1 about 5 days away, so the monitoring should start. Is the CBFM & sticks all I need, should I do anything else? Keep reading about taking temperature.
I feel like I am planning a military operation, thinking about when we will BD in 2 - 3 weeks time!0 -
Thanks everyone, I'm not upset to hear about an evaporation line (I had to google it!), so no problem.
We're taking a "it'll happen when it happens approach" but it's not consuming me! Although, the fact that I took a test when I've not missed a period yet shows me that I'm curious if nothing else!
Thanks again.0 -
LOVE that dress Nicki - if only I had the figure to pull off something like that :-)0

Not sure how to send a link to my FF chart (and last time I tried I got it wrong so that to everyone else it appeared as though I'd posted their charts) but if anyone can find mine to have a look can I get an opinion please?
One of the lines is a dotted line rather than a solid line and I presume it's because the temperature was a bit higer than normal. Do you think I should discard that temperature or will it not really make a difference? It's the 24th.0 -
