Trying for a Baby Part 7

Not sure how to send a link to my FF chart (and last time I tried I got it wrong so that to everyone else it appeared as though I'd posted their charts) but if anyone can find mine to have a look can I get an opinion please?
One of the lines is a dotted line rather than a solid line and I presume it's because the temperature was a bit higer than normal. Do you think I should discard that temperature or will it not really make a difference? It's the 24th.
Sneaks round the door....
Fannyanna did you temp on CD16? If not that would explain it

Well after a lot of chatting with DH and a trip to the GP we have decided to start ttc as soon as I stop bleeding after mc. It feels strange deciding that and a bit wrong but the GP said there is no reason to wait, and encouraged me to start asap. I am really scared of going through this again but we want a baby so much that part of me doesn't want to wait. I asked the GP if it was possible that my early mc was caused by low progesterone as each month my temp drops the day after ov so is only raised for one day. GP said I could have my progesterone levels checked after my next AF if I want to but she seemed confused that I thought a dip in temp may be a sign of low progesterone. She said I wouldn't have got pregnant in the first place if this was true. I'm not sure I agree with that though as I have read that if progesterone dips after ov it can cause a mc. I think the doctor thought I was just desperate to find a reason for mc when there really are no answers. Perhaps she was right but I just wanted to try and prevent another mc if I could. I'm not convinced the GP really took me seriously. Honestly if one more medical person tells me that 50% of pregnancies end in mc before the first 6 weeks I am going to shove their statistics up their bottom!! Its as if they think that will make you feel better. Anyway, sorry for rambling on!
The bleeding has been longer and much heavier than a normal period obviously but is thankfully coming to an end now. Does anyone know if I should expect to ov at the same time as if it was my usual cycle? Or will the fact that it is a mc mean I will ov later or possibly not at all?0 -
Candlewax, when I got PG with DD after my first Mc, the MW took the day my bleeding STOPPED as an alternative for an LMP - and DD was born at 40 weeks, so the dates worked. So looks like once the MC has finished, then you can start counting, so two weeks after it ends you should ovulate, I guess. DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Thank you Skintchick I'll work on that basis. Never thought before I started this that the highs and lows of trying to conceive would be so extreme and so rapidly changing!0

Are you losing weight and at the same time trying for a baby ? i had to go to the gym today, i need to lose 1 stone to be back to my old self, but i feel like i have to choose between having a baby or losing weight right now. i decided not to go, and instead go for a long walk to the beach... i go mad when im at the gym.:D
I am losing weight and I certainly am trying to have a baby, yes! (Both fairly unsuccessfully, but hey ho!) I only need to lose about half a stone though. I haven't found any decent evidence to show that you shouldn't exercise whilst TTC. When I go to the gym, I train hard (i.e. max out my heart rate, sweat loads and can hardly breathe at some points!) But then, I always have done. I think it's only really a problem if you suddenly start doing loads of stuff that you've never done before. If I didn't go to the gym, and work out as hard as I do, I'd get very fat!Sa-ra-ra-ra wrote: »I'm back!
welcome back! Glad you had a lovely holiday. Hope your cycle returns to normal soonLovely:happyhear I love dressing up for theatres, been to Lion King last week:)
I really want to go to the Lion King - did you love it? I think it would make me cry...!
I'm very excited today as FF put in an ov line and cover line! :j Only the second time ever, so I'm very pleasedReckons I ov'd on CD37, which makes me 3DPO. I'm quite surprised it's that late, as I had a -ve OPK on CD36 and CD37, plus I had no ewcm after CD35, plus I checked my cervix on CD37 and it wasn't very high...I'd have put it at CD36 but I don't suppose it makes much difference.
Hope our BDing was well-timed. We only BD'd on CD36(am) and CD38(pm), so if I did ov on CD37 it wasn't perfect. Hopefully good enough though!I'm just SO relieved that I ov'd!
Wow it was hot today! DH is working tomorrow so I'm looking forward to a day of pottering in the garden

Hi Candlewax,
How about such other classics as "You got pregnant, so it will happen again for you soon?" or "It's nature" or "It's God's way"? Looking for a slap!
I had a mc back in April at 5+2. My next period turned up 30 days after the day my mc started. At the time, my cycles were typically 32 days. Since then, my cycles have shortened down to an average of 29 days. So I guess it completely differs from one person to another. You may ovulate sooner or later than normal or not at all. I decided not to TTC the following month as if I got pg, I would have been travelling at 5 weeks and couldn't face the prospect of having another mc on holidays in a foreign country. That said, when I wasn't getting pregnant as soon as I hoped for after my mc, I kind of wished I had tried the first month when your chances of getting pregnant are considerably higher.
The good news is that I am 5 weeks pg tomorrow. Needless to say, this weekend will be difficult for me, I'm sh*tting a brick! I have pestered my doctor on several occasions about putting me on baby aspirin, I'm convinced that's why the mc happened, he won't do it. He reckons I have to have a second mc before he'll consider it, which is madness when you are the person who could be subjected to a second mc just because they couldn't be bothered doing tests. So, if they are offering you tests, grab them!
