I still remember now with a sickening feeling an appointment with a new fertility specialist about 12 years ago, when he turned the screen to my husband while scanning me, and said "See, her ovaries are pathetic, no wonder you haven't been able to get pregnant" :( .
 :shocked: That's disgusting! I hope you complained!
What did DH do/say? I think mine would've knocked him spark out!!
    Hi,

Im new, and have just posted a thread about PCOS and the like.....just wondering if i can join in your wonderful thread to keep my spirits up and to have a bit of a giggle, i'm currently TTC (wahoo thats the only abbreviation i remembered!!) and have PCOS...ovarian cysts...not ovulating...all sorts going on really!!!
 Welcome jellybean :D I have PCOS too, as do a few of the ladies on here. Not seen your thread (if I wandered round all the boards I'd never emerge again, I don't think!) but if there's any questions or whatever you want answering feel free to either post the link or your questions here (or a PM of course :))

I'm mainly lurking, I've nothing to add really anyway - AF is still here, whatever CD I'm on, I've no idea. DH predicted this AF would be 7 or 9 days, for some reason, but tbh, I don't really care/not keeping count. I think I'm gonna try a relaxed approach this month. No temps, no OPKs, etc, assume any sickness and sore b0obs etc is normal and see how I feel in November maybe - just focus on losing some more weight, and enjoying spending time with DH, and see what happens. If we don't get anywhere by December I think we'll be getting referred back to the gynae anyway, so there'll be enough pressure then I think :o

So, it's likely I'll mainly be lurking, whilst popping out of the shadows to answer any direct questions/q's noone else has answered yet, and offering welcomes and congrats :)

You better keep popping back to say hello every now and then or we'll miss you.

Enjoy your more relaxed cycle. I think it's a good idea to have a chill out every now and then - plus a lot of people find they get their BFP the month they decided to relax a little.

As for your weight loss - all the best with carrying it on and losing some more lbs. Not that you need it as you're the super, duper weight loss Queen :D

think I may have ov'd already . ewcm and ov pain thu/fri/sat. how peculiar. luckily though we'd been bding for fun's sake or we could have missed it I think.

found out too that alcohol affects you more around ov. did a quick google after feeling quite giddy after only a couple of drinks on Friday. another ov symptom to spot! wonder if it's natures way of making you more likely to have a shag when you're most fertile:rotfl:

Hi tinks - if you are using OPKs, the best time is meant to be around 2pm after holding urine for 2 hours. CBFM uses FMU though, so not sure.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
