    Weird or what

I have fantastic EWCM tonight. AF is quite light even though it is only CD2 and there is loads of it, and it stretches at least an inch and a half. Obviously haven't been doing OPKs this early.

Any point in BDing tonight? Surely my uterine lining won't be thick enough to support anything even if I'm having a freakishly early ovulation? Or is this just a weird aberration and ov will happen next week as I'm expecting? Anyone else ever had this, particularly first period after miscarriage?

Hi everyone, thankyou for looking at my chart QQ. I have got really bad pains in the bottom of my tummy, could they be ovulation pains, i was getting them yesterday too, but not as bad. I haven't got egg white discharge but it is watery.

By the way, somebody asked about baby aspirin - I think it's equivalent to 25% of a normal aspirin tablet - 75mg instead of 300mg

It was me :) Could you not just break up a tablet then?

I spent the weekend at the beach, gorgeous weather! Cant believe I was in a bikini in October!

Just waiting for ovulation now will start my opks tomorrow.

Congratulations on your engagement Jovichick, lovely news, we got married in Cyprus a couple of years ago and it was amazing, still brings a wee tear to my eye thinking about it!

i am soooo jealous of all of you down south who have had fab weather, here in Glasgow it chucked down all day yesterday, today was drier, but not great, I didn't mind too much as I got loads of studying done though.

Welcome jellybean  Hope you enjoy your time here, the ladies are great :) Very helpful and supportive.

Thanks QQ for your comment on us being referred for checks, my GP has already told me she isn't sure what will happen as I have DS, but it's nice to know that I (we) have her support and she wants to help. Kaemi-I did mention to her about short and light AF and she said that shouldn't be a problem, it is still AF, unlike your horrid doc!

Can I please predict 8 BFPs for this month-thanks

Some of your stories about the way you have been treated by the medical profession are shocking, they make me ashamed to be part of it. :o I always find it really difficult when something goes wrong for one of "my mummies" and hope I treat them with more dignity and respect than some of you ladies have experienced. I remember when I had a mc 16 years ago being really distraught at the way I spoken to-I had been told to bring a FMU in after I started bleeding and was told that they wouldn't even bother testing it as there was too much blood in it, and that it was early days and I quite clearly wan't pregnant anymore so go home and forget about it, after all it wasn't a real baby yet. Charming, I thhink the fact that it still winds me up 16 years later says it all really!

ooops, I have rambled on a bit more than I meant to-hope everyone has had a good weekend :D

  • Hi all

Haven't had chance to come on here for a few days so will read back now and catch up. Hope everyone's happily trying for that baby! Well I think I ovulated either today or yesterday. Have been using cheapie tesco own ovulation sticks but yesterday and the day before had a strong line but wasn't sure if it matched the test line so didn't know if it meant I was about to ov. or not. Tested again today and no line at all so I guess this means I ovulated?? Haven't had much chance to BD with OH with various things: too much work for bOth of us, he's been I'll and I've been socialising too much, but managed to fit one in today so fIngers crossed! More effort required though: must do better!! If AF appears this month though think I'll invest in cbfm : these sticks aren't clear enough for me.

Can I predict 8 bfp's for this month please QQ?

norabatty, glad your pg hormones are going the right way:)
Relax, your bean is doing fine:cool: Any morning sickness yet?

Thanks, no puking or anything like that yet. Had really bad stomach cramps and constant burping the first week until I learnt to reduce my portions. So am now eating about two thirds of what I would normally eat and an extra snack at 3pm and I only get pains a few times a day now. Also have no interest in chocolate whatsoever, which is attracting comments at work for being odd behaviour! I'd say they think I'm on a diet though! :o

Realised I'm supposed to be eating 25g of fibre a day - despite eating Shredded Wheat for breakfast, 2 slices of brown bread at lunch, brown rice or brown pasta as part of dinner, this still only accounts for about 10g a day. Exactly how much fibre is in an apple or a carrot? Really not sure where the other 15g could come from!
