    Morning all,

We are surely due a huge spate of BFPS soon! It's been so quiet recently *SBDTA*

Had a lovely time at wifes 40th birthday party. Had a lovely meal, some drinks and some dancing to 80s tunes with good friends and family and we were back in bed at a respectable 1am!

If all goes to plan this month (ha!) it will work out that I ovulate while DW is away (again), so I may have to visit our donor with my mum!! I don't really want to go on my own - so that'll be a bit on the strange side! Mum usually watches DS when we DTD, so I'll have to get someone to look after him too.....Oh the joys of artifician insemination!

Oh and I have a question about the luteal phase. How do you work it out? Do you count the day of ovulation up to the day before your period, or do you include the day you start your period? If I ovulated on Sept 19th and period started October 1st, does this make it a luteal phase of 12 days?

And what is it you can take to help make them longer? I dont think I will try it for this coming month - but if that it doesnt work, I shall try it next month and see if that makes a difference.

Thank you ladies, happy Monday (bah) to all! xx

Oh and HUGE congrats to Jovichick on your engagement - how exciting! :D

We got married in the US last year (there were just the two of us, our photographers and the registrar), and streamed our wedding via the internet for our friends and family!

A huge blizzard had hit Boston the day before the wedding, and even leaving our hotel to get to the town hall was a complete nightmare. My hair and make up lady cancelled as did the videographer because they were snowed in! At one point I thought the town hall would remain shut.. we had to get me there in a taxi, with boots on under my wedding dress!! NOTHING went to plan, but it was THE most amazing day of my life.

Hello everyone. Just popped in to say congrats to Jovichick. I love a wedding (other people's, couldn't cope myself). Hopefully you and your new fiance be able to make a tiny little flower girl/ page boy in time for the big day :o

I've spent the weekend with my sis and cute 1 year old nephew. He's such a happy little boy and he's walking around and giggling. Every time I go to see him I want one of my own even more, but I also start to worry about how I'd cope. My sis is younger than me but she is much more of a grown up.

I spent last night re-living my teens watching my fave band from when I was 14. I stood at the back at first with lots of pg ladies but decided to make the most of AF by heading for the mosh pit.

Speaking of AF I wish she'd bog off. I waited months for her to arrive but really, does she have to hang around? I thought she'd gone yesterday but she surprised me by returning in the night .. another flashback to my teenage years:rotfl:

Just realised that sounded a bit wrong - should have said 'made the most of not being pg by heading to the mosh pit'.
  • Morning ladies! :hello:

Not been around for a few days, and yet to read back. :o Hope everyone had a good weekend. :)

Wondering about putting off TTC to early next year. Made the mistake of weighing myself at the weekend and was pretty horrified. Feel really fat at the moment. :o:(

Also, DH is losing his job at the end of January and maybe it would be better to wait until he is in a new job, as I'm a bit worried about that.

Think me and DH will need to have a chat about it tonight. Anyone got any thoughts?

    Lily x

Good morning to another lovely day:wave:

Nicki, I'd BD just in case:o
moneysaver, (((hugs))) for tummy pains, it could be ov pain, so hope you are BDing:o
MrsHappy, hope the medical profession will be educated on how to treat people who had mcs. I had a good doctors and nurses, but same cannot be said of my relatives:o
norabatty, I have no idea about fibre, but good thing about not craving choccies:cool:
twigglet and Jules, fingers crossed AF won't arrive:o
    trixietoes, welcome back:wave:
    Swimming with dolphins sounds amazing:happyhear
    Any pics?
As for short AFs, it can happen sometimes, so don't worry too much:o
2ba3c, if you mum comes to the insemination, will she do the procedure?
As for LP, if you ov'd on the 19th, then that'll be 0DPO, if full flow AF arrives on 1st, then LP is 11 days.
Taking Vit B-complex is supposed to help, but it's not medically proven. Anything between 10-16 day is considered normal
Dovetail, glad you had a great time with your nephew:)
Lily, I'd continue TTC, babies come when they want to, not when it's convenient. People will always manage somehow:o

True, and it could take us ages to actually get PG, if we even can. Thanks QQ. We're going to have a chat about it tonight.

Lovely day here, I see they've forecast snow for the end of the week in Scotland!
