A voila. It's not on its board yet and I might do another tier, but this is my mum's cake :)

Claire - As others have said, GP's tend not to listen. I don't think mine even knew what a leutal phase was. I'm not complaining that she has referred me as at least a FS will know what s/he is talking about. Another problem is that I don't always get to 7 DPO because my LP is so short.

Oh well thats good you can talk sense with the FS!

Is the icing metallicy or is it just the photo making it look like that? Thats cool if it is!

AF finally arriving tonight, so cd1 tomorrow. Finally! Am defintely not having another month off from trying, it's far too stressful and for some reason whenever we don't try my cycles tend to go crazy. Plus tend to get worse cramps when we aren't, or perhaps it's all in the mind.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

Hiya - so, we (for various reasons) stopped "trying" as such a couple of months ago BUT i stayed off the pill..... have been off it since end of December 2011 and AF literally went straight back to pretty much normal.... ie every 28 days and lasting 3-4 days. We having been "doing it" much over the last few months (again, various reasons eg tiredness and stress lol) but there have been a couple of occasions (cant remember when though lol)..... anyhoo - AF was due at the weekend-ish. And i have been "ready" (ie sanitary towel wearing in case it arrives and catches me out lol) since Sunday... have had crampy tummy and back on and off since weekend, hence being ready for it lol... but no sign! Last time she arrived, first day was 7th June...... whats going on. I would assume it is my body still adjusting to pill by being late BUT ti has come normally every month since January, on time! Have been feeling slightly sicky but nothing major - the cramps arent terrible but feel just like when AF arrives.... so did a test on Tuesday night just out of interest and cos i had one left from when we were going to be properly trying.... total negative! not even a faint line lol.....so what the hell could be going on!!!!??? thought you guys were probably the best to ask......:o
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?

    everybody

Have been reading every day but not posting much as I'm trying to do this whole 'relaxed' ttc! Sorry not to reply to everybody's posts and just dive in with a whinge/question...

I went to the GP today to just double check my 'satisfactory' CD21 blood results. Turns out they aren't actually all that satisfactory! Progesterone is low (2.3) and GP suspects PCOS, which is what I'd thought she'd say. I've been referred for a scan to check my ovaries.

I wanted to ask if anybody knows what 'normal' FSH/LH levels are? Mine were FSH: 5.3 iu/L and LH: 26.6 iu/L. I know that's a really high LH level, but I did wonder if that was the LH surge before I ovulated. Also had SHBG checked and I think those results indicate PCOS too.

Feeling a bit annoyed that the receptionist told me everything was fine! But I don't want to be mean about her, because she was just reading out the GP's notes which did say 'satisfactory. No further action needed'. The GP explained to me today that her notes on the results are for the receptionist, not for the patient (LilyMay - made me think of you and the 'urgent' note on your results!)

Hope everybody is ok - sending big ((hugs)) to those in need of them.

Welcome to the newbies  Hope your stay here will be short and sweet!

QQ - great news about the follicle growing :j and hope the egg collection all goes well!

Mrsj not to worry you but it might be the high LH is connected to PCOS as that's why us ladies with it can't usually use opts as we'd always get positives. Hope is not though.

My ladies are nw so sore it hurts to walk fast. Progesterone is produced by your ovaries so maybe when Had the hyscosy the got tickled and went crazy lol

DHhas sold the cavalier! To a lovely man who already has two, an estate and a convertible. His poor wife had to drive it ack to Blackpool though as he can't drive manual.
So with the money were going for a nice weekend away next weekend for my birthday :) Can't decide if I want a middle of nowhere hotel or one I've seen which is in the middle of Llandudno and has a four poster bed x x
