QQ - Good Luck today xxxIf you can think it........it will happen0

Do you think maybe the test was actually only showing it as low because for you day 21 is not 7dpo - if thats what the test is supposed to be Im not 100% sure but I assume thats why its done then?
And in that case perhaps youre totally 'normal'? Im sure someone else on this post once wrote that their doc got them to do the test at 7dpo not at just day21.
I honestly dont think some doctors know what they are talking about/listen/understand on some of this stuff - like when I once explained to this one about why I wanted to change pills types and he had NO idea what I was on about - even after looking it up in a book and still getting it wrong  I ended up booking an appt with a nurse and she knew what I needed straight away!
Claire: In a word. Yes. Although i don't always get to 7 DPO because that's when AF starts. I have a very short LP which is the issue I think needs addressing.
Anyway, my temp went up again today. Very odd.
Hope everyone is having a good day

Glad you had a nice break tea lover
hope that the clomid works xx
Birdie, hopefully when it comes to it he will be a little more willing, especially if it might help you get there. Sometimes it can feel as though this TTC malarky is down to us!
Nearly ready - just need to change a bit more money, buy toiletries and maybe treat myself to a few more holiday clothes but finish work today for the summer so plenty of time to get it all done!First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
Totally agree about doctors. I've found them to be really dismissive of anything to do with the menstrual cycle. They just keep saying everything is normal and I have to fight really hard to get them to investigate anything.
Sooo 12dpo and I think I'm out. Got AF cramps, I've broken out, I have a spot on my chin big enough to camp in and I just don't feel it. So much for ceiling lady.
Good luck for today QQ and hugs to everyone who needs oneEu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

Ah, the million dollar question. It depends on the lateral phase length of your cycle - that's the period from after you ovulate to AF's arrival. Most calculators assume this is 14 days but it could be anywhere from 12-16 days and is usually constant. So if it's 14 days you will ovulate 14 from the start of AF, if it's 16 then 12 days, if it's 12 then it'll be 16 days. Using a calendar to predict ovulation isn't very reliable sadly which is why most of us use other methods .
So I suggest maybe monitoring your cervical mucous from cd7 onwards. When you get ewcm go for it.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Thanks Codemonkey.... one other thing ewcm??
sorry i feel really stupid but as its states im a newbie:)xx0 -
EWCM= Egg White Cervical Mucus, there's pictures on the first page, if you're not squeamish! most of the month your lady bits are hostile to sperm, but when you're fertile the mucus turns to EWCM which helps sperms as it has paths for them to swim up.
your best bet as you're just starting out and getting used to looking for those sorts of things is to make sure there's a fresh supply of swimmers, so intimate relations every 2-3 days throughout your cycle, so there's always some there for when the elusive egg decides to show her face
good luck today QQ
on the doctor front, the nasty one i didn't like asked me to track my cycles, i said ok, when do i count AF, spotting or full flow he said 'you mean you can tell the difference?'. no wonder i went requesting a referral to the consultantLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6
