    Hi girls:wave:
Another IVF blood test and scan tomorrow, fingers crossed they'll give me the date for egg collection soon:o

    lilymay, I'd guess you haven't ov'd on CD12 then:o
Amazing that you are referred to a fertility specialist so quickly:shocked:
Tinkwings, yay for CB hpt trial:j
atton, fingers crossed good job offer will come along:)
COMP, (((hugs))). Your friend was probably being sensitive:o
Codemonkey, hope that dream comes true:o
I had a dream once, while I was still pg with mc baby. I was with my daughter(?) who's about 3, and I saw my son(?) who's about 15 looking down from above (heaven?). I hope that doesn't mean there's a 12 year gap between the two:D

Thanks for the kind words guys. I was quite surprised that she her referred me so soon - not complaining though.

I'm going on a diet starting today! My BMI is currently 25.9 (i'm only short and still have my baby belly!) and i've read that they won't treat you unless you have a normal range BMI. Is that correct? Atleast I have 6 weeks to shift a few pounds.

QQ - Good luck on your scan tomorrow. Grow eggie grow!

Gosh this thread moves fast, cant keep up!

Huge congrats 2ba, you must be so thrilled xx

lilymay, hope this is the first step towards your eventual bfp. What effect does the lack of progesterone have on the reproductive process? I have so much to learn on this subject.

I've just been doing a bit of reading on Soy. Can anyone give me any more info on it?

I've picked up that in can induce ovulation, but most of the stories I've found have been people with really long cycles. Do you think it might help me ov earlier than CD21?

I'm not going to do anything until I've spoken to the GP tomorrow, but any information on SI would be much appreciated :)

I bought some soy, but as soon as I opened the packet I realised there was no way I could swallow tablets that big. And as QQ advised me, and she is right - they smell so I cant even open the capsules and tip it into a drink or anything. So I never took any :rotfl: So Im doing lunaception instead. I do have long cycles though - but its the same thing, wanting to bring ov forward.

Thank you Mrsj28, i took myself along to the dr as i thought there is no harm but he was a dr i've never had before. i'm more confused than before i went.:(

He said if i was pg then it would have shown up by know, he doesn't think its a cyst, doesn't think its a problem with my ovaries as ive ovulated on my last cycles and had my periods before this one. Told me to see how i feel in a week or so. then ended it as it could be an ectopic pregnancy but i dont think so.

So feeling very confused but i'll leave it another week but i think i will make another appt with a different dr!

Hugs to everyone that needs them xxx

I wouldnt worry. Maybe youre just having a long cycle?

My friend had cycles that were around 6-10 weeks and is now pg.

    Good luck!!
  • Hi all,

Only had time to read back a few pages. Cd 1 for me!!!Yay!! Finally. Relieved that i can start trying again. The last few weeks have dragged because they felt a bit pointless as i didnt know what stage i was at!

Hugs to lilymay. Hopefully now you know it will be simple to sort out.

    Good luck tomorrow QQ.

Helen, this is my 2nd month off the pill. 1st was 30 days so thought i was one of the lucky ones but just got to cd1 of my 2nd cycle which lasted 44 days. Read up on the evil google last nite that different pills can actually take longer for your cycles to regulate. Mine was one of the ones mentioned (yasmin).

Elsie (see above!). I got a positive opk on cd 19 with ewcm so thought that must have been ovulation. Guess that was somehow wrong for me too but fingers crossed for you. Your not out yet.

Big congrats 2b also. I lurked for months (in a non stalkerish way) so very pleased for you.:T

Onlywayisup - I was on Yasmin too! I wish someone had told me how coming off the pill could mess your body up for so long - never going back on it no matter what OH says!!

Also on the soy front she says yes its a good sauce of protein dont use it as a substitute for cows milk. Dont consume whole soya beans.

Products like tofu, miso, tamari and tempah to b restricted to three times a week. Due to physoestrogens in them which are not known oin conjuntion with fertility generally and hormone suppressing and stimulating drugs
