Hi everyone, can I be 'updated' on list to CD17, 2DPO please??

Hope everyone is doing ok. I've managed to BD more this month as hubbys ribs healed now, so fingers crossed for us!

Haven't posted much as it was all getting me down abit, but feel a bit more cheerful this month.

Why is it that the one day when you need the test to be clear is always the day you get the evaporation line or a dent?

morning all! QQ here is the buttercream gateau - we had some after a lovely shepherds pie meal in which I hid all sorts of veggies that DH hates - he loved it! lol



Ps, does anyone know where I can watch the great sperm race? C4 website doesnt have it anymore, and they removed it from youtube :mad:

YUM!! That looks delicious! I am doing weight watchers at the moment - I'm lucky in that I'm slim but I piled on a few pounds in the US and I'm also trying to keep to a low carb/low sugar diet to try and encourage ovulation! So I'm not allowed any of that, but at least I can look at the nice picture

I had a quick look online and can't find the great sperm race It might be available to buy on iTunes? It's brilliant, if you do get a chance to watch it. I was trying to explain to a friend the other day that even if everything is in perfect working order, and you BD at exactly the right time, you still might not get pregnant for a few months, but I wasn't explaining it very well!!

QQ - how is your 1ww going? Are you keeping busy to distract yourself? Hope you are ok and not going mad with this waiting.

CD1 for me today. So I must have ov around CD16/17 and not CD12 as I originally thought (I did have EWCM around CD16/17 but was also full of a cold so not in the mood for BDing) FF seems to think I'll ov on CD12 again this cycle, but since I don't temp anymore I think it's basing it on cycles from over 2 years ago when I was TTC DS - back then my cycles were 26 days, but currently more like 30/31. So I may try some OPKs this month. It would be nice to just say we'll BD every day/every other day and so pinpointing ov wouldn't matter, but DH and I are too shattered for BDing most of the time these days

Hi mrsj. I've been using progesterone cream to fix oestrogen dominance. Its used from ov until 14dpo (give or take) but before I stop using it, i need to test because if by some miracle I did get pregnant and stopped the cream, the fall in hormones could trigger miscarriage.

I was feeling a bit hopeful because I had light spotting on saturday and then nothing, but tested twice this morning (first one had evaporation) and BFN.


Sigh. This is never going to happen. And now DH is saying he doesnt want to know when I'm oving but he's not showing any more interest in bding, so I don't know how he expects i'll get pregnant. Maybe if I plant a cabbage patch in the garden, i'll find a baby there.
