loulou, glad your DH's ribs has healed:o
codemonkey, could it have been a tlp?
Was both tests done on the same pee?
My DH hates BDing when I'm oving too, he didn't want to get checked out, and he said he doesn't like the vitamins:mad:
    mogwai, that cake looks divine:happyhear
    Very professional too:cool:
I watched the great sperm race when it was still on youtube:(
mrsj28, it is impossible not to think about what ifs during this 1ww, and I know I'll be massively disappointed if it was a BFN:( But I can't change that, so decided to look at baby stuff online:rotfl:
    Great for PMA:cool: It's not like I'm buying anything:money:
I'll be disappointed whether I look at baby stuff now or not, so why not:p
    BigBird, hugs for CD1

Ok guys, can this making baby business really confuse you?? I'm sure i'm more'aware' (in a mad kind of way) of my body and it's aches, twinges etc. The sensible part of me knows that it's mind in overdrive but please tell me i'm not the only person this has happened too. Only been TTC since end of April and i'll be positively potty by the end of June, i'm sure of it! :o

No, you're not the only one. Every symptom I get in the 2 week wait I google it to see if it's a pregnancy symptom. :o

Lily the legend, welcome back:wave: Hope the conception moon did the trick:)

Thanks, me too! God knows when I ovulated because I had some more EWCM last night so we had a quickie BD again! :rotfl: DH was well chuffed.

Does anyone else here suffer from hay fever? If so, do you know what is safe to take while TTC? I don't get it every year but this year seems to be worse, I've even been waking up in the night and sneezing!! Might have to see the doctor for some advice as I have a cough at the moment too.

Feeling a bit fed up as I was getting excited thinking this might be our month, but then I've thought that every other month we've tried and it hasn't been, so I'm trying not to think about it/get excited about it but it's so hard. :(

Thanks fluff. I'm 32, been checked out already. I suffer from hyperprolactinaemia but am not being treated for it as it looks like I'm ovulating. Everything else is ok, apart from the oestrogen dominance which I'm addressing.

I'm pretty sure that the problem is with DH (lack of libido, difficulty finishing) but there isn't anything I can do if he refuses to go to the doctor. He won't even take his vitamins unless i bring them to him. Sometimes I feel more like his mum than his wife iyswim?

codemonkey - if it helps, i do have to baby DH with his vitamins too, he gets given them at night and gets his belly rubbed at night too.. :o

This sounds rubbish but I have read about some women who have trouble with getting their DHs to perform, doing a sort of A Insemination themselves with their DHs sperm. You get the idea of how it could be done.

And stop taking pregnancy tests. The first few months I was raring to POAS from 8DPO because Id read about some people getting +ve tests at that stage, but now Ive realised its just better to wait and see if you miss your period. Im fed up of looking at blank sticks too (inc stupid IC OPKs!)
We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic. ;)

    Debt at LBM (Sep 07): £13,500. Current debt: [STRIKE]£680[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£480[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£560[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£13[/STRIKE] £0 overdraft :D
Current aims - to start building up savings
    1st £1000 in 100 days - £1178.03 :D 2nd £1053.38/£1000 :D 3rd £863.59/£1000 :o

Wow that gateau looks amazing mogwai! :)

    *BigBird* hugs for CD1 x

codemonkey - we have been trying off and on since September too. It's difficult when other people seem to get pregnant so quickly.

nikola - hope it happens for you soon x

I don't have hayfever but I do get bites every single year. Drives me mad as I've never worked out where they're coming from. I used to take anti-histamines all the time for them as it was the only thing that stopped them itching like crazy but I can't do that now.

Am now really itchy just thinking about it... have a big line of them down one thigh at the moment and I want to scratch them sooooo much lol.

Will definitely be interested to hear other people's useful suggestions.

Oh I have a few of those too, all from the last day of holiday! They itch like mad. I have just been scratching the area around them. :o

If I go to the doc, I'll let you know what he says. x

I cant understand why men have an issue WANTING to BD all the time - In my own case my Wife is THE slacky one - Although when we start , she is on another planet and it is just that initial kickstart that gets her going.

I've been told to eat a spoonful of local honey every day for Hayfever. Not tried it as I don't suffer too much (only when the pollen count is really high) and I don't like honey but some people swear by it. :)

Hugs Code, my OH refuses to accept that he has any responsibility too. He won't take his man vitamins because there's something in them that doesn't agree with him, which is fair enough, but he drinks and eats whatever he likes, wears tight boxers, takes hot showers and baths etc, any suggestions that he changes things falls on deaf ears. An ongoing issue with us too is that he works too hard so when he comes home at 10pm he's too exhausted to BD. He gets no thanks for working like a madman so why does he have to do it?! I just think that BDing shouldn't be a chore to do just before bed, or squeezed into the lunch break and it'd be nice if he was up for it a little more ;)

Oh and that's made me remember a program I watched on iplayer, called something like 'Harlots, Housewives and Heroines' about women in the 17th Century. There was an interesting and funny bit about sex; men used to put a lot of effort into making sure that their wives were 'enjoying' themselves because they thought that a woman had to orgasm in order to 'release the seed'! Shame they still don't think that! :rotfl:
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

We're just lazy:rotfl: We're both fine once we get going but it's the intial effort that seems like hard work! It's not that we don't want to, just that having a nap also seems like a good plan :D

I could so have written that about my OH. He will not accept that there's a link between what he eats and drinks and the quality of the goods.

Was really annoyed the other weekend after another night of drinking and thought that if he had a poor SA result it would at least show him something. Which of course is stupid as obv I need him to have a great SA result - but he'd annoyed me so much I kind of wanted him to "fail". :o
