I would love to find the Great Sperm Race too as I'm starting to think my OH has literally no idea where babies come from!

I explain every cycle about how short the fertile window is and every time it seems to come as a complete surprise to him. I'm also sure he doesn't believe me that diet and lifestyle have any effect on things at all. His argument is that drunk people can get pg standing up. Obv that can be the case - but after years of trying and with known problems you'd think he'd be doing whatever he could to maximise our chances.

It's like he thinks I'm making it all up *rollseyes*.

Aw thanks mrsj28 and bigbird - I am on a low carb/sugar diet as well to try and lose weight, so i only had the teeniest sliver! But I did lick the batter, lol.. I just like making and looking at nice cakes..

I have told DH that Im ov sat or sun, and we need to BD from today/tomorrow, but I hate him knowing...it makes it feel so awkward. I did try not telling him, but kept leaving BD til he was too tired at night..

Im starting to think maybe we should just resort to BDing every 2/3 days and see how it goes - at least there wont be the stress of trying to time it right and getting depressed if you feel you didnt 'catch' the fertile window..
We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic. ;)

    Debt at LBM (Sep 07): £13,500. Current debt: [STRIKE]£680[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£480[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£560[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£13[/STRIKE] £0 overdraft :D
Current aims - to start building up savings
    1st £1000 in 100 days - £1178.03 :D 2nd £1053.38/£1000 :D 3rd £863.59/£1000 :o

Once again I've been reading and *thinking* I've been replying to everyone's news but not actually doing it! :o Ooops. :o

Just had an e-mail from ClearBlue saying they're doing another trial and to reply to them if I want to take part. I think I'll decline since I really don't want a fridge full of pee! :p Kind of sad that I signed up to take part back in January and we're now in June and I'm still not PG! Oh well, all good things come to those who wait :)

I've had one of those emails too Birdie (we were waiting to TTC in Jan but I figured if I got on the trial it would be a sign that we should start earlier than planned). I think I'll give it a go, but will probably have to work out some way of hiding the pee in the fridge as that will really freak DH out!

Sorry ladies, time for another of my hormonal strops. Feeling wretched today, not helped by arguing with DH last night. I just don't get why this isn't working! Ok i know its only been since September but I came off the pill over 2 years ago and we weren't all that careful and nothing. DH is hopeless and refuses to get checked out or get the medical issues that are getting in the way from his side sorted but he seems to think that because he's said he wants it now, that I'll miraculously get pregnant.

I know some of you have been trying for longer but I get so upset when people get pregnant on their first attempt - not because of they've done it and I'm jealous (although i am) but it makes me feel useless, barren and broken. I'm a failure at this!

Sigh, sorry. Just so sick of negative tests.

I really feel for you, don't apologise. It's absolutely heart-breaking and you're right to be upset.

How old are you? If you're in your 30s and you've been NTNP for 2 years then it really would be wise to at least check out the basics. I really hope that you can try to talk your OH round to considering some level of fertility investigation. You've got absolutely nothing to lose, and who knows? For the sake of a few straightforward tests, something obvious and treatable could be identified and before you know it you're pregnant.

It's so important to have your OH's support and for you to be as committed as each other. It's emotionally draining trying for a baby if it doesn't happen easily, and all the more so if you feel you're fighting battles with your OH too.

Thanks fluff. I'm 32, been checked out already. I suffer from hyperprolactinaemia but am not being treated for it as it looks like I'm ovulating. Everything else is ok, apart from the oestrogen dominance which I'm addressing.

I'm pretty sure that the problem is with DH (lack of libido, difficulty finishing) but there isn't anything I can do if he refuses to go to the doctor. He won't even take his vitamins unless i bring them to him. Sometimes I feel more like his mum than his wife iyswim?

Codemonkey i feel the same on the baby front i am 29 30 in jan and my oh is 37 i want a baby so much it hurts.

I apparantly cant catch as i stress too much to the point my prolactin hormone is raised which is the same hormone that raises when ur breastfeeding. I've got no children at all. I have anorexia and body dismorphia so i starved my body from an earlyage so that means my body hasnt been able to mature enough for me to catch. What annoys me the most is my half brother who abused me as a child has a kid ande i can get one like i am being punished for what he did. Sorry i know tmi but trying to let you know your not alone.
Today my temp was 97:55 so were bding like mad 2 already before 12 lol n my cm is like egg white
