I'm guessing I'm now 2DPO now as I had EWCM on Sunday night. I announced to DH I was ovulating so we had a quickie BD lol! ;)

QQ, I've got everything crossed for you, how exciting!! :D

Hope everyone else is ok. :)

So excited for you QQ - have everything crossed x
    Happy anniversary lilymay x

Been to see dr this morning - good news for me from recent bloods (not related to TTC) but also mentioned TTC when there & she gave me lots of useful advice. So I guess it's official now. Also told me not to worry about the length of this cycle and that everything should settle.
First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/14 :D

OH and I had a bit of a chat last night and he thinks charting and using this thread is stressing me out too as it's sort of taking over my life.

Therefore, I think i'm going to disappear and see if that helps.

Thanks to everyone for all your advice over the last few months and I hope none of you are here if I come back. Extra good luck to you QQ - you deserve it to happen more than anyone.

    Take Care everyone :)

Oh we will miss you LilyMay!! But I totally understand - ttc can really take over and the stress doesn't help. Please come back and tell us when you get your BFP! Good luck!

Fingers crossed that this is a good sticky bean for you QQ.

Lilymay, I second what others say and think you're working yourself up necessarily. I know it's awful when you just want to be pregnant again, but you know you can do it and even if your LP is short at the moment, maybe it's just your body's way of saying it's not quite ready for another pregnancy yet. And, as the mother of a 19 month old, I would soooo not want to be heavily pregnant or looking after a newborn at the moment - DS is more than enough just now! (oops, just seen that we cross posted - I hope the break does you good)

I tested this morning and still BFN :( But still no sign of AF, so not sure what's going on. I might have ovd later than I thought, and did have 2 lots of EWCM, but even if I ovd when I had the second lot I'd have expected AF to turn up by now. Perhaps my cycles are still messed up after having the coil removed. I'm tempted to get a cheapy pregnancy test to see if I get a TLP, since I've got digis at the moment so it's only a straight yes or no. Or maybe I should tempt fate by buying some OPKs for next cycle ;)

    Whats up Ladies

Thanks to you all - We had our first postive OPK on saturday and always thought wife never Oved which was caused by our ignorance as we were testing anytime we felt like. I pray that with my new found knowlegde and we are timing BD just before or around ov - Wife will get pregnant. I think we need we kids to send on errands. I am getting lazy fetching the sky remote or phone when never i am seated.

  • Ok guys, can this making baby business really confuse you?? I'm sure i'm more'aware' (in a mad kind of way) of my body and it's aches, twinges etc. The sensible part of me knows that it's mind in overdrive but please tell me i'm not the only person this has happened too. Only been TTC since end of April and i'll be positively potty by the end of June, i'm sure of it! :o

On another note i've started spotting since yesterday very lightly on and off - slightly strange as not due until next week. For some reason it's come early and a tiny part of me was getting excited this past week as chest has been tingling and tender, funny tweeks down you know where (sorry if TMI) but I think too much spotting to just be spotting if that makes sense.

Anyhow, need to log this all in diary to keep some sense of what my body is doing. Typically prior to wedding everything was like clock work. AF after wedding was weird, half a week of spotting and then nearly a week of AF. I put that down to hormones, rapid weight loss prior to wedding (due to nerves and axiety etc not crash dieting I add!! )...this month if it goes the same (i.e. this week spotting next full on AF) then I shall be most annoyed as I need to work out day 1....is it the initial spotting on and off or the what I would call 'proper' AF?? . For some reason my stress levels seem high - I know I need to knock this on the head but can't seem to shift the mood.

Hey ho, guess just got to go with it....still frustrating.

P.S - apologies for rant/waffling....i'm sat here confusing myself so just wanted to get it out.

    Welcome:wave:
I've added you to the list on the first page, let me know if you'd like your age added:)
How do you usually determine ov?
    Hey, I am 27.
Do you mean ovulation? Ive never determined, sometimes in the past I have felt pains on either side of my tummy, which I thought was OV pains.
My periods have always been rather erratic, for a long time I was waiting 3-4 months between each period, but my doc said a lot of that was due to my weight, I was almost 18 stone at 5ft tall :o

About 3 weeks ago I missed 3 or 4 days of the pill and bled, then a few days ago I had the pains but I thought the pill stops ovulation. OH and I hadnt had sex for about a week or so until the day after bleeding stopped as he was away.
Before the pill and for a couple of months when I started taking it I was having a period rougly every 2 weeks, so if this started happening again does it mean they are not 'real' onnes, I mean a 2 week cycle is not normal is it.
I am very confused about the whole process to be honest, there is so much info out there and trying to keep up with the abbreviations too!

For example, is it advisable to not have sex every day, OH and I generally do, but also not every time is actual sex but he still ejaculates, is tis a good or bad thing?
Also do you think its worth getting some of the conceive plus for trying straight away? I am natrually WELL lubricated as it is, even kissing gets me flowing :rotfl::o
