Abis, thanks for the detailed response.

My temps are whenever I need to get up, which could be 3am, 4,5,6am or 9am. I think most this month have been between 7am and 8am though and yep, they are always before I get out of bed or do anything.

I don't drink so that's not a problem. Yeah, I've been quite ill and, annoying, it was round ov this month so I'll take that into account.

My LB is 8 months, and I'm on cycle 7 since his birth. I got pg on cycle 2 after DD's birth though.

ps, I think you should still record your BD - it gives us hope that men can indeed manage it! And I don't think your DH will be happy if you tell him next month you are only BDing near ov after being used to it every day :rotfl:

OH will have to learn to be grateful for what he's given!! :rotfl::rotfl:

I think the timing of the temp can make a differnce too and can make your chart look erratic, and therefore not give you a true pattern. I rarely get a lie in, and normally temp at 7am or within 30 mins either side of that. On one day when I managed to sleep in til 9.30 my temp went up quite a lot, for no other reason than that, so if it was an irregular waking pattern then it might make it look all over the place.

I'd kind of take your chart with a pinch of salt as it may be leading you to thinking your body is doing things it actually isn't if you see what i mean, especially given the illness this month.

I know it feels like forever that you have been waiting and TTC, but your body went through 2 entire pregnancies in 22 months - it probably needs a break and nature is preventing the pregnancy until you are fully recovered.

Its not as easy, romantic or 'magic' as I imagined it would be TTC. I caught on straight away with DD and niavely (sp?) thought it would be that easy second time round too. And the waiting is a killer when all you want is to be pregnant. Can't believe I have another 5months+ of waiting to TTC before I can even get going again :(:o:(

    I know you're right, but I don't like what you're saying! :rotfl::rotfl:

I'll try to put my worries at the back of my mind for a few cycles and see what happens icon11.gif Thanks again ladies :A:A

    Lol, sorry Lilymay!!

I have zero patience normally, and I am a control freak - so I am being very tested in my current situation as I can't even do anything to help myself - just got to hope my body behaves itself and that I have the 'least' wait possible without needing any extra treatment....

I have good days and bad days too, and sometimes it feels like it will never happen for me. But I'm having a good day today and feeling ok with it all.

I am trying not to wish my time away and enjoy my time with DH and DD in the meantime and have some special times together while we have a family of 3 :A

Sounds like we could be one and the same Abis!

I really hope things go back to normal for you soon. Have you been advised to wait just to get the hormones and what not out of your body, or is there a more complex reason?
Glad today has been a good day :) I hope tomorrow is to.

Keep up with PMA - it's inspiring xx

I have to wait for HCG levels to return to normal and then wait 6 months after that before TTC. If HCG levels return to normal within 2 months, then the overall waiting time is reduced to 6 months - so keeping fingers crossed that I might sneak in with that one.

The molar tissue may regrow during this waiting period, which is why I am being tested weekly for HCG levels, as HCG indicates any regrowth. If there is still molar tissue in the womb, then the same may happen again with a subsequent pregnancy. Even after my levels are normal, they still can go back up which is why I need further testing to make sure I stay within normal before TTC again.

If I get a rise in HCG levels, I may need further treatment (another ERPC or chemo if that doesn't work) If I was to get pregnant within the monitoring period then they wouldn't know if a raise in HCG is due to the pregnancy or molar tissue re-growing.

I'm taking it one day at a time PMA wise at the mo. Some days I struggle to see any positivity in the world (usually when DD is at her dads as I find it so much harder then), but today I feel quite calm and content with things. It obv sucks that I lost the baby and have complications, but I have an amazing DH and DD so I am a lucky girlie really :A

Its certainly gonna teach me some lessons in patience and hopefully make me not be a control freak in the future!!

We'll all get our forever babies eventually. Good things happen to those who wait :A:A:A

Lily may, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say I think you're wrong about when you're oving and your lp. I think you're stressing yourself out unnecessarily, and need to relax and trust that your body knows what it's doing. ;)

You've already been shown that you are fertile, very recently, and I think that your charts - although far from ideal, but I think that's because of your the erratic times the temps are taken (and yes vaginal temps are more considered more accurate) - support that.

I don't think the doctor will take the "word" of those charts - precisely because they AREN'T accurate. They'd be more likely to check for ovulation when/if you'd been ttc for 12months+ (12months is still considered "normal") via a blood test on cd21, but obviously you *could* ask sooner if you're worried.

I personally think you ov'd on cd13ish last cycle and this one. I think considering you obviously bd enough, there is no benefit to you charting, and all it's doing is stressing you out. Temping is not for everyone. OPKs are not for everyone. Charting is not for everyone. Your cycles are regular. You have recently borne children. My advice would be to just trust that nature knows what it's doing and enjoy the family you have right now.:)

I don't mean to sound harsh, that's not my intent, but I don't want you working yourself up for something that is very likely not there. (I think the cramps and mood swings you're concerned about are more inline with the end of your LP, which is where I'd put you looking at your chat anyway tbh.) :)

*wave* to all  & good luck QQ & SBDTA :D

morning all! am super efficicent today got up cleaned the house, and made a sponge cake with filling all by 9am - well its efficient for me!

lilymay - I agree with zippy to come extent that theres not much point charting temps once you have your cycle stats figured out, as you are most likely bding through your ovulation phase.

Also, about your EWCM at 5dpo - it may well be 'leftovers' IYKWIM..lol

I read in the how to get pregnant faster book that it can make it seem like you have fertile cm when you dont, and they suggested doing kegel exercises to 'excise' the rest after a few hours, as by then the mobile sperm will have swum to where theyre supposed to be anyway, and the rest is just dead/immobile sperm etc

Its a good excuse to do kegels anyway, I find them so boring!

On a sad note - I can't have any of the sponge cake as on a sort of low carb diet, but on the plus side im starting to look saxy in my negligee again! :rotfl:
We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic. ;)

mogwai - that really is super efficient!! Am very impressed. I dragged myself out of bed about 2 mins before leaving the house this morning so have some truly terrible hair today. Not that it matters, am in the middle of moving office so will definitely be looking worse by the end of the day.

lilymay - I hope you don't think we're ganging up on you lol, but I have to agree with BZ (lovely to see you btw) and abis. I think charting is just stressing you out more tbh. You BD enough to catch ov, whenever it is, and you've been fertile pretty recently. I think your body is just having a breather before you get pg again. Big hugs, hope your anniversary evening was lovely.
