Just wondering if I could join y'all? I have a DS whos 18months and feeling ready for number 2. Have just came off the pill. Had a withdrawal bleed so just awaiting cycles to get back to normal. Fingers crosse. Hoping to conceive in around 6 months time. If it happens sooner i will be delighted but 6 months would be perfect timing so we are just going with the flow
Snap! I'd ideally like a 3 year gap, but we're starting TTC now and will see what happens.
Hugs to those awaiting tests and consultations. Hope you don't have to wait too long TTC40.
Fingers crossed that Ov happens soon for you QQ. Bless your Mum getting excited about your eggy
Feeling crampy and bloaty here, so I think AF isn't far away. I'll be glad to get the first proper one out of the way so I can start working out where my cycles are up to after my coil. You can do anything, make anything, dream anything. If you change the world, the world will change.0 -
mrshappy - good luck with the sperm retrieval and ICSI - sounds like a good decision and I'm glad you popped in here to share with us!
Let us know how you get on.

Morning all.
I've managed to get myself in a bit of a tizz this morning. FF has said that I Ov'ed on CD12. BUT my temperature was above the coverline on CD11, dropped on CD12 then spiked again. Ordinarily I wouldn't bat an eyelid at this except that on CD12 I took my temperature 2 hours earlier than normal (couldn't be helped - super early flight). So I might actually have Ov'ed on CD10 which means we have no chance this month. Not that we have much chance anyway!
Oh well!Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -

Thanks QQ, i knew you'd know
logically it makes sense, as i've only fooled my body into having the second half of the cycle for five days, so the lining won't have built up that much. was hoping for a good clear out though
i've decided to experiment and take the soy isoflavones Kavics kindly sent me, except i have to take 10 capsules for a 100mg dose! oh well, always love a challenge
decided i need to get organised with my training, and i'm guna do the Couch 2 5k, i've doen it before but lost my way once it ended, so i'm guna do it back to back with another programme i've found, which is the one hour runner. i think i'd be very happy with being able to run for one whole hour, considering one whole minute is a challengeplus it gives me goals that aren't anything to do with ttc and both programmes will take 4 months so i definitely don't want to be interupted by anything with them...fate...fate...can you hear this? lol
Lilymay, personally i wouldn't change the rings unless he decided to get them for you. i see my engagement and wedding ring as a symbol of his love and commitment to me so which ones i have should be entirely his choice. but i think i'm quite unusual in that anyway x xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Gem nice to see you
sorry have on idea but hope you get an answer!
I love my engagement and wedding rings but then haven't had them long!
Quick question - came off pill last week, CD1 was Friday, had 2 days of 'normal' bleed and now it's stopped. Is that normal?First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
TTC40 - re. waiting times, FWIW I'd say take anything the hospitals tell you with a big pinch of salt. For my last lap (probably can't say which hospital or it will get taken off) I was repeatedly told the waiting list was 11 weeks. I actually waited just over a year. Even when I'd been waiting over 9 months they were still saying the waiting time was 11 weeks. The one before that (diff hospital), the official waiting list was 16 weeks but I had a lap within about 8 weeks.
The only place I've found accurate waiting time info is on forums, by speaking to other people who've been treated at the same places.
That's probably not what you want to hear at all is it? Sorry!!
First FS appt tomorrow and I'm bricking it. Am really nervous that they'll either say there's nothing they can do, or they'll say they can help but the waiting list is like 4 years or something.
Good luck for the appointment tomorrow - really hope it goes well.0 -
Hello People. Loads to catch up on but on my phone so will have to catch up properly later. Cd3 fOr me today. Wasn't a surprise as no high or peak on cbfm but didn't stop me hoping and being a bit gutted. Also gave me the interesting issues of having af whilst wearing spanx and a bridesmaid dress. Sorry for tmi!!
So onwards and upwards with this month. Have set my hopes very high this month despite trying not to cos there's no 'reason' for us not to conceive. Whereas for the past 5 monts I've been Ill/dh has been busy/just come off pill etc. need to have a good think about how to manage my expectations.0 -
Had my scan today, and seems my ovaries are working, and my eggs are growing bigger:j
Next scan is on Thursday, and if lucky will get ov trigger thingyQuick question - came off pill last week, CD1 was Friday, had 2 days of 'normal' bleed and now it's stopped.
