    Morning ladies,

    Vibes and Gemmzie
    - I can't help with either of those, but I'm sure someone else will come along soon and give you an answer.

Just after some opinions from you ladies - Would you change your wedding and engagement rings after you'd got married? Both of mine were bought on a budget and I have seen a more expensive matching set I've fallen inlove with. I asked OH what he thought, and he said as long as I kept the first 2 he didn't mind. It's coming up to our anniversary so might be able to have them as a gift. What do you lot think?

CD12 for me today. I hope I ov before the end of this week!

I know you are fertile again almost straight away with the implant coming out but I'm worried about knowing when to try and if I can tolerate letting my cycle go back to its natural rhythm before we start trying.
    Any advice?

My best advice would be buy a BBT you can get them on ebay for £3. I'd not had a period for over a year when I had my implant taken out, we still BD'd and then on the first day of bleeding which was around 2/3 weeks later I think, I started temping, this helps you monitor your cycle. There's no need to wait for your cycle to go back to it's normal rhythm hun, if you can wait till after your first day of bleeding it's best as that can be used for dating purposes but you can start trying straight away. If your not sure when to BD just try to aim for every other day.
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

    Hello girls:wave:
    CD13, low on CBFM:(
I don't seem to get Highs these days, it's probably my age:o

Chocolate, glad you had a nice relaxing Saturday:)
That charity shop shopping was very :money:
Good vibes, you don't have to do OPKs at the same time every day. But 10:30pm is fine:)
Gemmzie, I've never had implants so can't advise:o
Lilymay, I think it's fine to buy as many new rings as you like, but the original engagement/wedding ring will always be the engagement/wedding ring (for me).

My mum bought a lovely large diamond ring few years after they got married, and she wears it a lot, but she still has the original ring which she never wears:)

Hope it's okay to pop in and post here but I think you ladies might be the best to give me some advice. :o

OH and I are hoping to start TTC in the Summer but I'm petrified about having the implant out, AF has never been my friend and I have been on some form of contraceptive since I was 13 (pill up to 4 years ago) except a small gap when I realised that my natural cycle was still horrendous.
I know you are fertile again almost straight away with the implant coming out but I'm worried about knowing when to try and if I can tolerate letting my cycle go back to its natural rhythm before we start trying.
    Any advice?

I felt like that too, I had dreadful periods from 13-18 then I went on the pill and it solved all my problems!

So when I came off it last year I was pretty worried as before Id be sick with the pain etc.

However Ive only had 2 periods since coming off it last June that have been sightly painful, but they are even lighter than when I was on the pill! Its annoying not being able to 'schedule' them like you can on the pill though but then as theyre not as bad that doesnt matter so much anyway.

But of course everyone is different so I guess the only way to tell is to get your implant taken out!

Quick question, after taking noristhisterone, I've had a light period, is that normal? It's spotting today and not been heavy at all, not even over night.

Feeling really ill today like I did when I had gastritis so trying to relax lots today, clearly work and things have been too stressful x,

    Hi all,

Hope you are all well! I am reading everyone's posts, but not much to add so keeping quiet. Fingers crossed for you QQ that you get a high soon. Exciting month for you!

I keep forgetting to POAS, but I think I must have ov'd today. Sensitive boobs, bit of EWCM and its around the right time for me. BD yesterday and today, and will see if I can convince DH for another quick go tonight... I don't really tell him why we are BDing all the time, but he must notice that there is an occasional burst of interest from me!

I'm sitting at home today being very lazy. And watching (here is a big confession) America's next top model. It's my guilty pleasure! Hope everyone else is having a good Sunday, despite the rain!

yay! AF finished yesterday:j tomorrow night will be the 5th day of taking soy, when do you think I should start testing for ovulation? last cycle was 32 days, OV was CD20

The weather here is awful, it better not be like it for the rest of the week as I have the week off :o

    Hi all,
    Happy birthday for tinks yesterday.

    Just a question.
I thought I was use ovulation sticks just to see if my CDays are in check, because not ever taken note of these things.
Don't think I could time BDing this month anyway, because my partner on early shifts this week and gets into bed and sleeps lol.
I work shift work and think the best time for me to get a everyday test at the same time would be 10.30pm. Would this still be ok with testing?
I work combined shifts, in healthcare and am lucky to find time for a pee during a shift, so I wouldn't have time to test during a shift at the same time.
    Thank you

10.30pm should be fine - the main thing is you need to have concentrated wee, so try not to drink too much in the two hours before you test.

Hi Gemmzie  I haven't got any experience of the implant, but there is lots of good advice on here. There is also a 'waiting to ttc' thread on here which might be helpful (you are welcome on here of course!! but you might find the other thread more helpful until you start ttc)

I'd start testing at about CD16, but if this is only your second cycle since coming off birth control, the cycle length might be different this time, I'm not sure how quickly the soy will make a difference (I've never taken soy). It's also worth keeping an eye on your CM and when you start to see watery/egg white CM then you could start testing then. If you have the cheapy internet OV sticks then I guess you could start testing as early as you like, as they are so cheap!
