Your news has made me more excited than my temp rise this morning!! We're all rooting for you and your eggies QQ!!!!

My DH just did the CUTEST thing ever (he came home from work at lunchtime). He gave me a big hug and then lifted up my t shirt and said to my tummy 'hello, is there anybody in there'? I nearly cried it was so lovely....... Ooooh I really hope there is something in there!!

that's great news QQ! Best of luck for next week.

    That's so cute Mrsj2b!

Nothing going on here. Though question why is it that people spend ages trying to get pregnant then constantly moan when they are. My cousin in law spends all of her time on facebook moaning about sickness, stretch marks everything. I've got 4 friends/family that are doing that. It just feels like a double kick in the teeth. I'm sure that one day when I'm pregnant I will use that factor to 'play up' to OH (of course we might as well utilise the situation) but not on facebook.

vesper - I know what you mean. One of my friends (one of the very few people that know we're trying) always seems to choose me to moan to about how hard it is raising children. I don't know if she's trying to make me feel better about what I'm missing!

mrsj28 - that truly is the cutest thing. Bless him!

argggggghhhh cousin-in-law is moaning again!!! anyone would think she's about to pop not having over another 20weeks to go. Think it's about time to hide her comments, would have thought she was a bit more sensitive, she knows how long we have been trying. And when she lost her last baby we were told not to get pregnant as it would hurt her too much!!!

Is it tempting fate to order 40 cbfm testing strips?

    Definitely :D

Plus, if for any reason fate isn't tempted (booo... hope it will be!) then you will use them, so not a total waste of money :money:

So onwards and upwards with this month. Have set my hopes very high this month despite trying not to cos there's no 'reason' for us not to conceive. Whereas for the past 5 monts I've been Ill/dh has been busy/just come off pill etc. need to have a good think about how to manage my expectations.

hi zcrat - I know what you mean about trying to manage expectations. Mine are up and down this month - we seem to have timed BD quite well around OV which makes me quite hopeful.... I have decided it's ok to have high hopes and be excited, as long as I am prepared to deal with the potential disappointment. It's such a rollercoaster ride, isn't it?

I think that's a nice way to look at it. It seems a shame not to get excited, I think I just need to make sure I've booked a massage or planned a nice weekend with my OH if AF shows so that I don't eat the whole of Tesco's chocolate aisle:D
Getting normal AF sounds like you did ov

Interesting QQ - I presumed I hadn't due to food poisoning/antibiotics/teeth being ripped out. Oh, and I realise now that I was probably quite stressed about being Bridesmaid this weekend. Thank the lord she'll only ever get married once, I couldn't be doing with any more Bridezilla moments:rotfl:Guess you're right though that if AF came as normal, it would indicate everything else was normal!

MRsj28 That is soo sweet of your OH!
MrsHappy Great news about your decision. I really really hope it works for you.
QQ - That's really encouraging news! Keeping all fingers crossed here for you.
Vesper - That's what I did! I'm sitting on 3 months supply now. Tempt fate with me!!!! (And it was muuuchh cheaper +extra boots points on Quidco:money:) I also think that's really insensitive of your cousin in law. Def time to hid on FB I reckon!
Welcome jencole hope your stay here is short and sweet.
