Trying for a Baby Part 7

hello, I'm new on this thread.
I'm almost 32 and I have PCOS, my periods have always been crazy: I get one once in 3-4 months and then it's painful, it doesn't stop for week (sometimes I have to get a prescription to take something to make it stop). I haven't taken any precautions and nothing happened in the last year so I went to the GP to ask for a referral to get some treatment.
The GP doesn't want to send me until I try for 2 years!!! I am really annoyed as if I get my period only 3 times a year I probably ovulate 3 times a year or not even that. It's really silly to wait by the rules and loose time when I want some treatment to try to regulate my periods and at least have a chance each month
I would like to try some naturist treatments or acupuncture, I'm going to do some online research to see what to take.0 -
Mess, have you tried seeing a different GP at the surgery.
When I went one GP said that I had to try for 2 years and saw another who was much more sympathetic and said because of my previous troubles she would refer me after 6 months.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Congratulations Squirrel! I saw the last few comments and got excited for a BFP, but an engagement is just as good
The line on my ov sticks is getting darker by the day - it's about 2/3 of the darkness of the control line so hopefully I am actually ov'ing, and its not to far away.
I just made an apple tart and it looks heavenlyI will miss having the free time to bake when I start working!

mess0804, welcome and hugs for the doctors not doing anything:o
Have you tried things like agnus castus?
If you are on the heavy side, you could try losing 10% of your weight to kick start ov:o
