Congratulations Squirrel you have to tell us the story, I love engagement stories!
Anniversary meal was absolutely gorgeous, as were all the staff, must be a hiring policy! Had a fab time but now have the worst Sunday blues ever!
Got my letter confirming gynae appointment, so glad things are finally moving forward. Only spanner in the works is he'll ask for the date of my last smear and Ive not had one. Just not got round to it yet, when I it the letter I was pregnant, and I've kept forgetting since. I might lie and say I had it one when I was 21 in Wales and its due soon. There's no way I'll be able to go before the tenth, I've election and schools appeal work to do x

Couldn't you just say you haven't got round to it, but will get it done soon?

Thanks ladies, i am so excited....

I knew it would come at some point this year particularly with us ttc as we always said we'd be married first (although it wasnt a deal breaker) but it did come a bit out of the blue!!
We were visiting a local castle yesterday on the national trust open day and I walked over to look at something and when I turned round, he was down on one knee with a ring in hand!! Very romantic!!!
Been out for a lovely meal and drank loads of champers with some friends which is doing my diet no favours but on this occasion I really dont care!!!
Think we will be having a fairly quick wedding too - just in planning stages now!!!!! :j:j

I dont actually know when/if i ovalated this month, but im going to guess and say im 2DPO, as i gave up testing as was on a downer about TTC this month, but im usually pretty regular, so ovalation should have occurred in last few days.

So im in the 2WW now, and im NOT going to symptom spot at all, as got my hopes up last month for nothing. I dont actually hold out to much hope this month anyway, as hubby was ill, so we only did the deed once in days before ovalation and then last night (which was properly too late...)

BUT im tempting fate, as going to a music concert in just over a month and hubby has already said i cant go if im pregnant (as its a rock concert and we have standing tickets!) so this month will be the last time its an issue before concert.
