How sad for your friend Skint :(

I never really thought about MC before I started TTC, it makes me so sad that it is so common. :(
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

    Hi claire
I'd been doing the CB opks in the morning, because it said anytime was fine :o
The last 2 cheap ones, I've done around 5pm and made sure I didn't drink for 2hrs+ before....
So i'd be on day 19 now and probably missed ov :(

I think 2pm is the optimum time, but anytime after 11am is best and before 9pm I think?.

    That's really sad BB.

Welcome to the newbies - Olliesmum and I think I missed one other.

    Hugs to skintchick.

Make use of that High on CBFM Primmer!

I thought I was back to healthy again but this morning I woke up with the itchiest skin in the world and 2 eyes that looked like I'd gone 5 rounds with Mike Tyson. Weird as I never get ill or hayfever or anything. Think it must be something to do with liles we've got in the house at the moment. Not happy if it is cos Lily was my 1st choice for a baby girl but I'd have to change that if I've started getting allergic to them.

Love the idea of picking up a pregnancy. Personally though, I think I'd even skip the Tesco finest and buy Waitrose. I love that place. I feel nice about the world in there.

Day 18 and still a low on CBFM for me. Looks like I won't ov this month now as I only have a 28 day cycle. It's still asking for tests - should I still do them or give up till next cycle do you reckon?

Maybe youre just having a longer cycle this time?

I just had a phone conversation with my new boss and now i'm a bit worried about TTC :(

He basically set down a list of whats expected, my targets etc etc and I can't help but feel he (and the company) would be wholly unimpressed if I were to fall pregnant anytime soon.

I just don't know what to do. I worked hard for this opportunity and it will so good for me, and for my family, but I want more children sooner rather than later. :(

    P.s - QQ, i LOVE that bfp sticky <3

I started a new job at the beg of March and were just stopping ttc for March, Apr and May. which for me is only really 2 cycles as the last couple were sooo long. So this last cycle, I am trying to cut out sugar and do lunaception to get prepared again.

The main reason we stopped for a while was not so much me worrying about getting pg, but because I am terrified of getting morning sickness in a new job. In my old job I was really close to my boss, she was a lovely lady who I could tell anything.

But now Ive got a man, and hes not very err.. chatty. Cant see myself telling him anything like that. And so Id be having to try to hide it, and the thought of that is just too scary right now. So we just decided to delay for a few months, but not any longer. as like lots of ppl have posted on here, you cant keep your life on hold forever!

Btw - did you ladies know everything has sugar in?

Cutting out fat would be easy - tons of low fat stuff out there, but things you think would be good for you, are full of sugar! No dried fruit, that is the worst, low fat yoghurts are full of it - I could only find 1 type of yoghurt in tescos today that I considered low sugar enough to buy. Its even in pizza!

I mean I knew that, but I didnt realise how much. So its going to be impossible to cut out, and not that I guess you should do that 100% anyway, but just trying to have lower than the daily allowance is hard, as I have a major sweet tooth. Im going to have to look up food on the net. I ended up buying peanuts and crisps - seems you have to swap sugar for fat lol!

Sorry to hear about the mc skint, hope things progress better next time. Birdie 85 I never really used to think about mc at all before I started reading around about TTC..

GGrr feeling frustrated over OPKs, only ever seen a positive one month in 3 of using them

I had what looked like a buildup to a positive, took my last test at 4pm and it was almost positive. Held my wee and tested again just now, 5.5 hours later, been trying not to drink much but my wee is never very concentrated, and its almost no band!

Is ovulation proceeding normally for someone who doesnt reach the LH surge standard on these tests? I can always see the buildup around CD12-13 but no definite positive.

Also, how long are you supposed to hold your wee to get a good result on OPKs?

On a better note finally got my normal amount of EWCM so even if we don't BD today, yesterdays BD should still give us a chance, FX!

OOh and good luck tomorrow QQ! xx
We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic. ;)

Mogwai - I think on my opks it doesnt say anything about holding your wee, just limit fluid intake for 2 hours before. Which I guess means you then wouldnt have to pee.

Infact, sometimes I could pee, because Id be bursting, and then err pee a bit more to do the test lol, and Id get a positive result with that. I found if I got a positive, it was a positive however I did it.

Im not good at drinking enough though. Perhaps you are better at getting enough fluids than me?

do you take your temperature? You could try that instead?

QQ - I will be thinking of you tomorrow. Very very very best of luck. I know I haven't been here long, but you are the crooks of this board and I hope you stay here even when you get your BFP. You have too much valuable knowledge to just disappear! :D

Claire - Morning sickness did occur to me to, but I firmly believe that is why gingernuts were created!

I actually don't feel so disappointed about AF starting today, although I have felt very flat today. I'm pretty sure its because I know everyone on here is at different stages in their cycle, so even if I have no chance yet some of you lot could be creating new babies as I type this. That's so exciting!

Hey everyone, I feel I've brought the thread's PMA down, I'm sorry. I went to yoga tonight and I was reminded just how great our bodies are and what they are capable of, it made me feel a lot more positive.

    QQ good luck for tomorrow.

I concur re QQ! Lots of luck from me too!!

Im the kind of person who is sick at the drop of a hat unfortunately, whether its from dodgy food or whatever. Ive thrown up after taking travel sickness tablets, and I remember my Mum trying to get me to eat ginger biscuits after a plane flight. They didnt go down either :rotfl:

Im better now Im older, but I used to be so travel sick, that in the end, I used to get sick literally from the thought of travelling - I once threw up as the taxi from our house left to take us to the aiport - and then even worse - my Dad took me with him to pick my uncle up from a flight, and whilst we were in the arrivals area I was sick because just the thought of it got to me!

Thankfully Im not like that at all now, but I just know I will get it bad if anyone will! I also have IBS, so that can sometimes make me feel naseous too. Good times :rotfl:
