CD2 here as well.
I hardly slept a wink last night - I had the most horrendous period pains. I have never, ever had them before in over 13 years of AFSorry if TMI, but there has been quite a few clots in it as well and that is new to me too. The pain is still pretty bad now, but I have to get up as I am taking DS into my friends school so all the children can ask me questions :S Hopefully "where do babies come from" won't come up!
Fingers crossed again QQ.
How lovely that people are hearing good news re; friends pregnancies. It's so good to hear a + story14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -

Right... have been trying to formulate a PMA list as I'm back on CD1.
I am disappointed as I’d had felt so positive about it this month. I really thought we’d got it this time. Plus it means that I now can’t have a baby before my next birthday, so I’ll be at least 34 which tbh just sounds so old for a first child.
So.... PMA:
- although it was 45 days, that’s 14 days shorter than last cycle, and 4 days shorter than the time before that.
- temping seemed to show that I did actually ov, and AF turned up when I would expect based on when I thought ov was.
- so although the cycles are annoyingly long, that has given me hope that they’re at least kind of working.
- gives me a bit more time to save some money/pay off some more of OH's debts.
Was banking on being able to cancel the FS apt on 1st May but guess I’d better focus on that now. Does anyone know (I’m sure you all do!) if they need to know family history? I’m pretty sure my mum also had endo, and I know she had a hyst. at 37 as there were problems but I’m not sure what. Will the FS want to know about any of that? Part of me wants to ask her so I’ve got as much info as possible, but I’m not sure I really want to talk to her about us trying.0 -
big ((hugs)) for AF tealover - good PMA list thought and I really hope the FS appointment will be helpful.
QQ - good luck today!!! keeping everything crossed0 -
34 isn't old to have a first child tea. I was 37, nearly 38
And if we get lucky and have no 2, I'll be 40! :eek:Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Thanks MV. It doesn't sound at all old on other people, iyswim, but it feels ancient on me!
I've really struggled with my age since turning 30. It's like a black cloud landed on me on my 30th birthday and just hasn't left since. I feel perfectly happy with life for most of the time, but I just feel so incredibly old. Like life has passed me by and I've missed my chance to have a family.0 -
Tealover - hugs for af but well done on finding some pma. I am 39 later this year and still trying for no.1 so don't give up hope. FS didnt ask us about any history in family except for heart, strokes etc nothing to do with fertility. But each fs is different but I am sure you can get back to them if they need further info than you can provide there and then.0

Good luck to QQ! Hope it goes super well.
Good luck to all you other ladies trying also.
Tea - try not to worry too much about the age thing. There are plenty of ladies who have babies in their late 30's and early 40's.
I do understand what you mean about feeling old though. My 30th is coming up this November. It doesn't really seem real, IYKWIM? I still tend to think of myself as 24 or so (even though I'm aware that I act older than that most of the time - I can't go clubbing anymore, as I can barely keep my eyes open past 12! lol). OH let slip yesterday, what my parents are planning to buy me though! lol He wasn't entirely sure if I'd like it, so he was trying to put feelers out, but subtlety is not his strong point. Bless him.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
QQ - Good Luck xxxxIf you can think it........it will happen0
