    Good morning:wave:
    Not sure why FF doesn't accept another clomid this morning, but I'm still taking 1/4 clomid every night:o I think it is supposed to stop my ovary choosing just the one dominant follicle, but it didn't work last time:p

    vesper, 3-5 year olds are good in that you don't have to potty train them or do nappies:cool:
    zcrat, well done for not googling pg symptoms, keep it up:o
    TeamLowe, having done several IVFs, it's not as bad as you think.
    DH is against adopting, so it's only IVF for us. I'd have liked to have adopted 2 kids, something like a 2 year old and a one year old, as I'm not so keen on nappies...:o
    Definitely Blonde, I'm on 'natural' IVF which uses minimal medication, so I can do IVF every month if I can afford it:cool:

    At my age, I need to do it as much as I can, as one only produces viable eggs on very few occasions per year, so catching that elusive egg is very important.

    I may have missed a golden egg last cycle, as I had very good ewcm:o I had work that I couldn't move, so that was it:(

    In this cycle, I took single femara tab (similar to clomid) on CD3-5, and 1/4 of clomid every night from CD8. I'll do a nasal spray near ov to stop ov, and egg collection following that. That's it. If the egg makes it to blastocyst (a stage just before implantation), then it'll be frozen to be replaced sometime later.

    It's cheap:money: And it is safer and won't damage my ovaries. I had OHSS (where my ovaries overreacted) on conventional IVF last year:o.
    2ba3c, (((hugs))).
    Am at a stage where I'll have a heart attack if I ever get pg:o
    claire, the FF boxes in green are your possible fertile days, pink is AF. Not sure about yellow:huh:
    On mine, CD14-18 is green:D

    I hope the witch stays away 2ba :(

    I'm a bit confused by AF now, it is super light, more like heavy spotting. Surely after a 7 week cycle it should be heavier?! How long do I wait before going to the doctor to ask about the crappy cycles and my doubts that I even OV? I get one day of EWCM and that's it, never had a +ve OPK (although I didn't use them this cycle... because they were useless before!). It's been 5 months now, I suppose if I go now I'll just get told that things are still settling down... but that doesn't make me feel any better!

    Maybe we should just book the holiday to Florida and buy the theme park tickets and make a list of the scariest rollercoasters we're going to go on and the bars we're going to drink beer in... hopefully it'll tempt fate! ;)
    Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

    Morning all, just popping on with some hugs for you all. Have been lurking over the last few days but haven't really felt up to posting much.

    Hope everyone's doing ok, am feeling a bit low about TTC atm so thought I'd stay away. Was at my GPs yesterday (about the UTI) and saw some notes from last time. It doesn't really seem like there's much hope for us so think I'll be taking a step back from here. Will still be visiting and spurring you all on.

    Love and best wishes to you all xx.

    Birdie - go for the tempting fate option! If nothing works out at least you can scare yourself silly whilst hungover from all those great bars you try!

    Tea Lover - sorry to hear that. Hope whatever you do works out.

    Big hugs to Birdie, Tealover and 2b and to everyone who needs/wants one.

    When I started this ttc journey I never thought it would be this difficult, painful, emotionally tiring or that 2.5 years later I would be no where nearer my BFP. Having said that, I am not ready to give up on my dream yet and still believe that it is possible even if it is through ivf as fs has suggested.

    I now have to wait to test of my tubes and the results of that test before seeing fs again to discuss referral for ivf and I know that once referred it will take time before process starts. I have therefore tried to look at what I can do in the interim period:-

    1) enjoy my time spent with DH and my doggy and look for positives in our life together and arrange to meet up with friends etc;

    2) really try to lose some more weight in next few months so that my body is as healthy as it can be for ivf treatment;

    3) to keep up with Zumba classes and to do more exercise in addition to class;

    4) to keep bding with DH but to try and take some if the pressure off by just bding throughout cycle and not just fertile days and not testing until at least 14dpo.

    I think you timed your inseminations perfectly. Do you think maybe you should get your tubes checked?

    Perhaps it is taking its time to reach full flow?

    I think you've just snuck into my head and read my mind! I could have written that word for word (excpet replace 'Zumba' with 'run')!

    Got AF cramps so think AF is on her way, most probably tomorrow. Boo, it's blumming uncomfortable.

    Off to work soon, should be entertaining tonight as we have a band that is starting to practice tonight in our function room, it's a jazz,swing and ballad band, so should be entertaining. They are also going to become our house band, as we are swapping practice space for gigs.

    OH seems thoroughly entertained tonight, I keep discovering him starring at me strangely. He's been at it for a couple of hours now, looked down and can now see what on earth he's enjoying. I have the most enormous pair of tits today, they are humungous, how my bra and t-shirt are not exploding I don't know!
