Good luck Vesper! I clerk meetings regarding children in care and I leave every single one wanting to adopt. In fact, I think me and DH would adopt rather than IVF if t came to it but that's just us
You're right not to expect a newborn, hardly anyone gives up their child and be process to have them removed from birth parents can take at least 11 months, usually a lot longer. Course I'm sure all of this will be explained in depth to you, just remember you can go to other local authoritys for their training if you don't like that being offered at your own x xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

4 days overdue, not signs of AF BUT it is still testing BFN, went to the chemist bought a "proper" one and it says is invalid grrrrrrrr, Will wait till the weekend.. btw on Sunday is my wedding anniversary, 6 years.
Mssas and Leopardlady good luck.
QQ how exciting :j:j:j. Good luck this week.
Vesper - good luck with adoption.
AFM negative OPK again today  but lots EWCM :j. Nothing else to share...:smileyheaBaby Aida is here :j:j:jBaby fund - £3140/£60000 -
Birdie85 – ((hugs)) for CD1. Your birthday is the day after mine, fingers crossed we can be BFP buddies as well as birthday buddies
QQuaver – I didn’t realise you had started the next round of IVF. I don’t know much about it but when my cousin had her treatment she had months in between sessions so I guess I thought everyone did that. Fingers crossed for CD17, not long to go.
Vesper – good luck with the adoption process.0 -
Big temp drop to show AF coming as predicted tomorrow. I am so sick of NOT being pregnant.
Why. Why isn't this happening?Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0 -
Good luck to QQ and Vesper!!
I just popped back on here to ask, does anyone know what it means on FF it it puts coloured boxes around certain days?
Its highlighted a few days about to come up in green boxes, then a couple in yellow, and then about 2 weeks after that, in pink?? Id guess it means fertile, ov and then AF, but none of it really actually matches to that based on my past cycles so Im confused!0 -
Morning.
Caved in and tested this morning. BFN. Had a bit of an excuse as I'm away on an hen weekend this weekend and if it was a + I was going to magic up some antibiotics. My deal with myself was I'd test on Fri am.
I know its not over till the pink lady sings so I'll try and just be restrained on the old champers.
Getting a bit fed up with this now.
Why do they lie to you at school? At ours, we were taught (and believed!), you get good a - levels, then a good degree, then you have a fab high flying career for a few years before finding the man of your dreams at 27, marriage at 28 after a decent length engagement, kid no 1 at 29 and kid no 2 at 30.
Doesn't help when you dont meet the right man till your 30 does it! Harumph. Supposed it also doesn't help that when you've been taught if you work hard enough you can get what you want it makes it really hard to deal with situations that are totally out of your control!
Anway, sorry, bit grumpy today. I'm tired and fed up and I have to go and be nice to people on this hen weekend!0 -

OMG!! My school wouldn't have dreamt of peddling something so prescriptive and (frankly) a little bit sexist! It was all about getting a decent job and being an independent woman!"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -

Oh - and in addition to having the perfect 2.4 family you were also supposed to continue with your high flying career in law/medicine/accountancy.
They weren't impressed with me when I said I wanted to drive my tractors:D0 -
