There's no way we would get a new born baby in this area, they have told us that we have got more chance of a 3-5 year old, but will put out names down eventually for a new born aswell. Looks as though they are interested in us as apparently they don't get many people of my age applying for adoption in my county. We'll just have to see, this isn't going to change our opinions on trying naturally, so we're going to carry on as normal in that respect. Looks as though we will have plenty of room soon for kids, as FIL wants to move out of his (now OH's) house and us move in there.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -
I have friends who adopted after 7 failed IVFs
. They were told their chances of getting a baby would be increased if they agreed to take a sibling group or a disabled child, and in the end they did agree to this, but they ended up with a single 3 year old who is the apple of their eyes. I think the process started when the child was 2 though, but as it takes quite a while, she was 3 when the final adoption order came through.

QQ - I have everything crossed for you this cycle. Good luck.
Vesper - that's amazing of you and oh to be considering adoption. I think it's a wonderful thing you. Of course, I hope nature takes a wonderful course for you before then.
msasa - fingers crossed!
AFM, apologies for not being around much for a few days, it's been a bit busy down on the farm. I'm arund 9dpo and have been having a bit of ovary pain. Or so I think anyway. 14 hours on a tractor with nothing but the radio for company has you imagining every symptom possible! Boobs were hurting too but that was more cos I'm bouncing around in my seat! Anyway, I have learnt my lesson not to google symptoms.
