 everybody. Back from a couple of days away for work, so much to catch up on as always!

Aida - hope you are ok, you are being so positive, but as others have said, it's ok to be sad too.

Lemon Melon - hope today is a better day at work, sending (hugs)

Tealover - massive (hugs) for all the stuff going on at the moment for you, especially with work etc. Please rant away, we are happy to listen.

Skintchick - nice to see you back!

    Secretdebts

Primmer and Dundeediva - big hugs for CD1 :(

Sa-ra-ra-ra - great news about the house! And before the stamp duty holiday ends, yeah!

Teamlowe - loving the letters to Mrs Cervix :rotfl: This is the first month I have even been able to find mine (!) and to be honest I have no clue if it is high or low or soft or hard or open or closed or whatever.......

Loads more I wanted to say to people... but forgetting... big ((hugs)) to all who want or need them.

Still no temp rise for me :( Going on a few other signs I'd think I've ovulated. Had very early starts and didn't sleep well on Tuesday night and Wednesday night, so that might have affected my temp I guess. Who knows. Would love a normal length cycle this month!

    Its f-f-f-f-f-f-f-f-f-friday again desismileys_6199.gif

Anybody got any plans for the weekend?

We're visiting friends tonight for a meal. I'm going to drive even tho its only across town so I don't have to drink. Not sure they will see through this as last time we went it was pouring with rain and we still walked so we could both have a drink. Might end up just telling them we are TTC if the subject comes up. I'm always worried that people will think I am already pregnant and waiting for the scan to make an announcement if they notice I am not drinking etc. :o

My hubby took me out for a lovely curry last night as he was late home from work. I was so grumpy cos I was hungry tho, and then I started feeling sick and not fancying much. I did warn him that that would be what the next few months would be like when I do get pregnant :rotfl: I defo think 4DPO is too early to start SS tho!! Q would defo give me a wagging finger for that :rotfl::rotfl:

Theres a lot going on in RL for a lot of you :(

Dundeediva - hugs for AF. I feel your pain with the crying. I had a 3 day bout of crying a few weeks ago with the TTC stress and other stresses. Got a little embarrassing and tedious after a while. But I couldn't stop! Glad your boss was so lovely and understanding, and it will be nice to have a chat with them outside of work.

Tinkwings & Tealover - hugs for bad times at work :( Have you tried looking for other jobs? Sounds like your appraisal was a little awkward Tea lover (am doing a Paddy off of Take me out knee bend here) Sometimes it does people good to know where they stand tho. They might put things in place to alter things?

Candlewax - I've got the same OPK's from amazon. I too find them a little wierd, being a FMU girl as well and also not good with change. I only bought a pack of 15 thinking that there would be plenty for 3 months or so with 15 tests. I think the advice I was given was either in the afternoon or evening, but don't drink for 3 hours prior to POAS as this dilutes the sample. And that the testing line has to be darker than the control line in order for it to be a +ve OPK. I tried for 5-6 days in a row, and all od my test lines were paler than the control line. And I don't think I was sticking to the not drinking bit as well properly. So I kind of gave up on them. I think I started using them around CD 14, and given that I didn't ovulate until CD29 according to FF I would have used the entire pack on the first month. I have found that checking CM and temping suits me much better.

2bs3c - hope your busy day goes ok. Good luck for your job - hope you get it. And hope DW doesn't waste the donors sample on the ceiling again :rotfl: I do have a chuckle about that every now and again - and all the other funny stories on here about foof sizes etc!!

Primmer - hugs for AF, and for SIL scan pic. Hope you are ok. Its hard seeing other people going through their pregnancies when all you want is it to be you with the big bump etc.

Kavics - hope you are doing ok without OH there. Its hard when they are away - I hate it. But you will appreciate him all the more when he does come back (well for a couple of days, and then the wet towels on the floor and other annoying habits will start to annoy you again) :rotfl:

Lemonmelon - glad your day went ok. I hope today goes well too. Hopefully each day back should feel a little bit easier.

Mrs Happy - you are not a massive moaner (well no more than the rest of us at times!) RL sucks sometimes, and TTC along side RL is so hard. We are always here to have a rant with. As others have said before, please don't put pressure on yourself for the BFP for your mum. Unfortunately its something we can't control as much as we would love to :(

MrsJ - maybe you have had an ovulation dip as your temp seems to be on the rise a lot this morning! You seem to have a very jagged graph compared to mine. I didn't think I would ever ovulate :o I had convinced myself I was broken. But FF put my lines on for CD29 when it was CD32. I read afterwards that stress can significantly delay ovulation as your body decides its not able to cope with ov on top of other things. Illness, travel and something else can put ov back too I think. I had EWCM on the CD20, and then not again til CD27 & CD29, so I think my body was gonna ov at around CD20 and then realised I was still v v stressed with the car & car bill, and then went back into hiding for another week. Just keep trying to BD when you can. Normally I would have probably given up BDing by CD32 as I would have been expecting AF to arrive, not ov to be happening! But becuase of temping and knowing I hadn't ov'd we carried on with the BD so at least I know I am in with a shot this month.

Hope aida is doing ok if she is still lurking. And cherrydrop too - how are you getting on?

Hugs for anyone I have missed out! The thread goes so fast sometimes, I struggle to keep up.

Abis - I totally agree, it's really useful temping. I'd probably have given up on regular BDing by now and would be back to weekends only if I hadn't been checking my temps!

    Hi all!

Sounds like some of you had really crummy Thursdays, big hugs going out to girlies stuck in awful jobs with horrid bosses. At least it's Friday today and we've got the weekend to look forward to!

Popped round to see the in-laws the other day and I really wish they'd stop asking about babies, I might ask OH to tell MIL to stop saying anything as it upsets me now. I told them about SIL being PG and the first thing they said was, 'When will it be you?' so I snapped that not everyone is lucky enough to get PG on/just after their honeymoon! :( You'd think that they'd have figured it out by now, but they're clearly a bit dim. :(

OH was too tired to BD last night, and it's his own fault as he'd been messing around playing rugby with a friend all morning then went to work and pushed himself too hard as usual so as soon as he turned my advances down, grumbling that he was knackered, I turned away, refused to cuddle up and gave him the 'cold bum treatment' as my Dad calls it! ;) He just doesn't get how important it is to BD regularly if we want to be in with a chance of catching the elusive egg and all I ask is that he takes things a little easier for a couple of weeks a month so he's got the energy to fulfil his side of the bargain.

On top of dealing with OH, I also get my childless/single/not even considering it for 5 years friend asking me about TTC and saying, 'Have you *stopped* trying yet, because it'll only happen once you stop'... grrrr, a) what the hell does she know?! b) that only applies to couples who BD every 2/3 days whether they're trying or not and c) she was telling me to stop trying before we even started!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Me too! And I think my fanny's in a weird place. I have to wear the liners really far forward in my knicks. If I put them directly over the gusset they're too far back.

I mentioned this to my friend once and she just said I must have a funny-shaped fanny :o

Wow I must do too then, cos I have the same problem! :rotfl:The gussets in my knickers are always too far back for me too. :o
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
