Nicki, what's wrong with swimming and exercise ? :s
You're my font of knowledge so worried I'm doing things wrong lol

Nothing for most people, in fact it's beneficial when TTc as it promotes blood flow to uterus. But rest, warmth and avoiding strenuous exercise in the first half of the cycle are thought by some alternative health people to be good if you have a problem with your uterine lining, and when I was scanned when I miscarried mine was too thin to sustain the pregnancy and I generally have short light periods of late so I suspect that may be part of the issue. Swimming is only out for me because of the advice not to let the abdomen and back get cold.

QQ - lol. I only included the foods I like in my list. I love black beans in particular, could eat them til the cows come home.

QQ- please change my CD1 to today - think I called too early yesterday!

AF will be finished before hols and operation BD will be on for when we get back!

My plan for the month is to enjoy the holiday - including food and drink in moderation (hopefully). Will be skiing so plenty of fresh air and strangely relaxing. Will take cough med and use OPKs from day 10.

Stretchy cm is all well and good but the military operation won't work if my husband is 'a bit tired' and can't be bothered to have s e x with me :(

Oh well, try again in the morning.

I just really want to make a baby. :o

Spotting tonight for me, to go along with the big temp dip this morning. CD1 for me tomorrow please QQ.

In the knowledge it was coming, I have been putting together a plan of action for next month. Spent this morning researching all the best things to do, take, eat and avoid during AF, and have got my list of dos and don'ts ready, along with a menu plan for the next 5 days. Over the course of the next couple of days will do the same for the period between AF and ovulation, then for ovulation, and finally for 2ww. Hopefully by breaking the month into different stages it will go more quickly and I can keep my PMA up for the whole month.

    Its disappointing isn't it? :(

Still no AF, and I sneakily did a test today (13DPO), in case AF comes (what logic :rotfl:) and nothing! The test is one of those IC early ones, 10miu, so should have caught something by now?

Nikki, I am thinking about next month too now, just in case..

Your list is really long! I hope you can stick to most of it. I've been reading the natural fertility blogs, and maca root and cutting down on dairy is suggested. Because my cycle is quite short (normally 26-28 days), I'm going to try B complex to lengthen the luteal phase, just in case thats causing a problem..

Am also going to get some fresh royal jelly and bee pollen, and co-Q10, and agnus castus..

Thats a lot of supplements! But no point being faint hearted about it I think..

QQ - Why are you not fine with the bits in red?? Just curious!

Mogwai, even at 14dpo when all other tests had confirmed my bfp the IC's only showed a very faint positive so a neg at 13dpo doesn't necessarily mean your out chick x
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Yayyyyyyy, I finally got a temperature rise this morning!!! desismileys_3709.gif

Its amazing how happy something so little can make you. Feeling slightly less broken this morning and that I may possibly ov after all :o Just hope that my temp doesn't dip again tomorrow otherwise so will my PMA I bet...

Managed to BD last night even tho I wasn't feeling super well. It had been a couple of days so I started to panic that there wouldn't be any sperm there to greet my egg if one ever came. Will hopefully BD tonight and tomorrow too, altho my sister is staying with us. I aren't gonna wait another 40 days for another chance to catch an eggy tho. She'll be downstairs on the sofa bed so I'm sure she wouldn't hear anything anyways...

Was feeling ever so grumpy last night apart from being ill. It was my ex's birthday on weds night so I said he could have DD so they could celebrate and have a birthday tea etc. And when she came back from school last night she was grumpy and obviously over-tired. She said she had had an extra late night, and she took herself off for a lay down on the sofa with a blanket. Sure enough, 5 mins later she was fast asleep. Let her have just over an hour, and woke her up cos I knew she wouldn't sleep at bedtime if I left her napping. And cos she was over-tired and now evern grumpier for being woken up, she proceeded to have a massive tantrum. Like a 30 min screaming / crying fit and I couldn't calm her down. She hasn't had a tantrum like that in about 3 years!!!

Am feeling very irritated by my ex at the mo. I try to be flexible and treat him the way I would like to be treated. But it just seems like a one-way street at the minute. He must have realised that by keeping her up so late it would have a knock on effect on my time with her. Wouldn't have been so bad if it hadn't been a school night, as she could have laid in on thursday morning. I am finding him so irresponsable at the moment. I don't really know what to do about it, because I know he will lie and say she was in bed for normal time if I ask him about it. The stupid thing is, I probably would still do the same next time, as its important to DD to be there for his birthday.

MrsJ - hope you get to make your baby today. Neither me or DH were in the mood at first yesterday. I took the car to do some supermarket shopping after DD was in bed, and told DH to think sexy thoughts whilst I was gone, lol! He is back to doing his 100mile a day commute now and is struggling with energy levels, and he is v busy at work too. I find it hard having to rely on him to perform. :o I don't want it to become a chore and un-enjoyable. But at the same time, I need them sperm there ready to meet my egg :rotfl::rotfl:

Mogwai - I don't know about the IC tests - have only had -ves with those so far. I think they are able to detect from 10DPO but not in every case. When I had my DD I took a weekly test (how times have changed now! I have a bad POAS habit these days!!), and the first response one was meant to pick up 5 days early didn't pick up on my +ve when a clear blue digi one did. So I know some are more sensitive than others. If AF isn't here, then you aren't out of the game.

Thanks for your list Nicki  I might start doing some research myself for next cycle if eggy isn't caught this time round. I think it helps to try to focus on new things every month. I started temping and taking pregnacare conception tablets this month, and they're both making me feel like I am doing something to help out.

I am also going to try to lose some weight thanks to you ladies discussing weight issues the other day. I lost 2 stone for my wedding last year and felt fab, but I have put it all back on :o If I lost 10% of my weight then I would move back from an obese BMI to an overweight BMI, which will obviously help with fertility as well as help make me feel better about myself too.

I know I can diet when I stick to it. However I am a terrible yoyo dieter. I have lost and regained 5 stone regularly since I was 18. I know I am an emotional eater. I would definately like to find something that would help me keep the weight off for good.

When I got pregnant with my DD I was very slim, the lowest weight I had been, and then I promptly gained 5.5 stone during pregnancy :(:o:(

This time round I am not so slim, so I will have to keep much better control over my diet and weight gain. So I should start now and put things into practice ready for when a BFP comes my way...
