Trying for a Baby Part 7

I sold my car in September Tea Lover. Not that the car was worth much - its was just what we would save on insurance and road tax.
I didn't use it that much. I bike to work. My DD goes to school at the end of the road, and dance class is only a short walk away. I now get my supermarket shopping delivered usually or wait til DH is home and use his car.
I do get sad from time to time without it, and without my independence as much. Its been hard over winter. I wish I had sold it before summer really so that I had gotten used to it in nicer weather.
But at the end of the day I am about £50 a month better off for not having it, which is all helping to repay debts. I also cancelled sky, which I was paying £30 a month for. So in 1 year I will be able to repay £1000 more against my debts.
So when I get sad, I try to remind myself why I am doing it.
Some days are much easier to do this on than others (like today its lovely and sunny and I enjoyed being out on my bike). And I got a high temperature this morning, so everything is much happier today for me, lol!! :rotfl::rotfl:Married my lobster in July 2011

I'm out...AF just arrived..
tealover, also feeling low, thats 2ish months of trying with timing etc..I know its not long but we also havent been using contraception for a year so feeling quite gutted
Also, all the symptoms this month really made me think this was the oneAt least that'll teach me next month not to read anything into them - you live and learn!
Rubbish friday for me girls, but hope you guys are having a better start to the weekend!
Tea lover, one of my friends told me something which helps at rubbish times like this - she said it rather grandiose as well so it made me giggle - 'this too will pass'.. xxWe got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic.

The stupid thing is that we hardly ever use it anyway. I have a car, he has a works van, so his car really is just a very expensive toy. He'll have over £400 a month extra to put towards debts without it so it really is a no-brainer, I'm just disappointed that I can't ease the pain for him with the promise of a baby lol.0

Tealover - (hugs) think of the money you will be saving and putting towards the baby fund so when you do get your bfp you will have some savings ready.
Mogwai - hugs it is always horrid to see af turn up whether you have been trying a short while or a long while. Having been trying for a loooonnnnng while I still hate it when af shows but you do get to realise that symptoms of a bfp and symptoms of af are similar and also when desperately looking out for symptoms you can convince yourself of anything - that said it still doesn't mean that there aren't months where even now I am sure I am pregnant and then af shows.
Tinks and Sa-ra-ra - Hugs ladies - hope you find some pma real soon.0 -
Hugs for AF Mogwai :grouphug: (oh no, when I scrolled over the group hug item it says 3some! thats so wrong, lol!)
For the past 2 cycles I was convinced it was pg. I am trying to be more cautious with my feelings this month. I am far too much of an optimist for this TTC lark, and am going to end up an emotional wreck if I aren't careful.
I've been trying 4.5 months now, but waiting to TTC for 2 years, so I am finding it v hard to not catch on as fast as I would have liked to. Hopefully it will be our turn soon tho
Oooo, tea lover - thats such a lot to save!! Thats nearly £5000 a year:D I know its hard going without tho. I sulked for quite a while about sky going, lol!! But it will be worth it. I can't wait to be debt free. I will be so rich with all the extra money I have spare from not making repayments!!
Speaking of money - I made £150 so far out of the things I have put on ebay over the last week :j:j And DH made £350 out of his bits. So thats nearly HALF the car bill paid for :j:jMarried my lobster in July 2011

haha i've done sooo well so far not convincing myself i might be pg but it's just caught up with me.
-just had a meeting and they brought in the lunch which had these veggie patty on stick thihgs (nicer than it sounds) that i like and i could really smell them even though they were covered up and fairly far away. but that could be cos i like them
-getting painful trapped wind which i only had last time i was pg but that could be cos of the new metformin. ditto consti pation
-felt sick this morning, but i always do before AF
-peeing like the proverbial racehorse. but that could just be because i've decided to start noticing
-glasses look dirty a lot (my own personal weird one from the last pregnancy) but the coating is coming off so probably noticing it more cos of that.
-left nipple is really sore but it's always more sensitive because it used to be pierced. booobs in general aren't sore
-*think* i'm getting cramps meaning AF but could be trapped wind again. i honestly don't know because before mc i was lucky and never got them
oh well, should mean i'm in the second half of the cycle at least so AF should be here soon. i hopes x xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Hugs Mogwai, I can't believe that Af is showing up for so many of you
.
Acupuncture tmrw for me, I can't wait. I need to de-stress after this week, it hasn't been the easiest. No plans for the weekend for us, I desperately need to study but just don't feel like.
Speaking of money, my friend won £27000 on the lottery. I mean how lucky she is??? She went out and bought folic acid after the won, they wanted to wait another year but now trying. If she carries on like this, she will be pregnant in no time!0 -
Acupuncture for me in an hour and a half kavics
. I'm feeling a bit crampy with AF today so hope it doesn't make things worse.
