Trying for a Baby Part 7

Hi all. Hope everyone is ok. AF is finally leaving the building today after only lasting 3 days. This cycle has been the best for me on my left ovaries, so fingers crossed my cycles are settling down, no spotting after ovulation and no long period.
Feeling super happy this week, as I have paid off my credit cards and my car loan.
BUT I am now going to be taking on a mortgage for our new home, which is scary but exciting at the same time. And moving at the end of the month hopefully.
That's lots of positive things in one post! And mortgage = good debt
Am I making things up inside my head, or are there a few people moving at the moment? Or was that a while ago? We're in the process of buying the house we rent (we decided we have far too much stuff to move) and it's both scary and exciting - and a little stressful as we're first time buyers and trying to get in before the stamp duty starts again. If one more person says 'oooh, new house, new baby!' to me, I might punch them in the face, mind.0 -
Cupid - Hallo. We've only told 3 of my friends that we are trying, not going to tell any of my family that we are and that's definate.
Nothing going on here, the dizzy spells are continuing though and added to nausea. So not feeling great, just did a pregnancy test just to tick that off the list, BFN so that's not the problem. So trip to the doctor later this week.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -

Hello everyone, I'm back:wave:
Seems I have ov'd, so probably something like 3DPO (overtaken you Littlezee:p)
Have only skim read, so let me know if I missed something:)
Littlezee, your "we'll sort it out so that somebody is always here when you need us" sounds like a good idea, so will try that. It's great to have someone like you who knows MILs like mine:o
(((Hugs))) for not being able to visit your MIL, hope she'll get to see you pg soon though:)
Abis, for your bill for your car. But glad it's back:o
mlbarrett, tea lover, twigglett & tinkwings, (((hugs))) for AF:(
Aida, glad your af was a good one:p
Kavics, good luck for your MIL and good on your OH to pay for private care:cool:
cupid_s & Pinguini, welcome:wave:
I've added you to the list on the first page, let me know if you'd like anything changed:)
Sa-ra-ra-ra, (((hugs))) for your infection, are you all right?:(
Good luck at the recurrent mc clinic:o
Squ1rrels, good luck at your scan, glad they are looking into everything:)0 -
Well I don't feel so bad about telling little white lies to my friends and family nowSa-ra-ra-ra wrote: »How much do you know about the whole trying-to-conceive thing? Have you done any reading or anything, or would you like one of us to go back to basics and give you a quick rundown?
That's really nice! Unfortunately I know more than I'd like to about some aspects of trying to conceive, as one of my best friends has been trying for almost 5 years without success. I might just do the opposite to her and cross my fingers that it works for us. Because she drinks like a fish, never exercises, has the worst diet ever and gets very stressed about things and that can't be good.
But I know I am ignorant of my body. I think I have regular 28 day cycles but to be honest I've never bothered to check, I get a couple of days warning so I've never had a need to count the days. I have no idea when I ovulate, or if I even do. I think for the moment we'll just see how it goes but I'm prepared to get more serious if needs be. I just need to be careful not to scare DH off too much though, as I don't think he'd perform well under pressure.
If there's any definite do's and don't's though I'd love to hear them.
Good luck with the house buying Flee - it's a very exciting time.
Sorry about the infection Sa-ra-ra-ra (and the miscarriages). It's good the appointment is so soon though. Hope it goes well. Buying the place you rent is a really good idea, moving was a nightmare for us cos of all our rubbish.

I hope that works for you. Though I am normal weight, exercise regularly, eat a healthy well balanced diet with very little processed food, drink very modestly, don't smoke or take any drugs prescription or recreational, and am quite laid back with little stress, and have had difficulty conceiving most of my children. It's not always the couple's "fault" if children don't come quickly or easily, and in fact a lot of couples (perhaps even most couple) take up to a year to fall pregnant, irrespective of their life style choices.0 -
Hello! Sorry I have been out of action lately. Though we continued TTC straight after the MC, I decided to take a step away from the board as it was a bit difficult. Anyway! Can I come back please?
I was lucky enough to get on the Clearblue trial, so I happen to know I am 5dpo if you could change me on the list please QQ

Welcome back Dibdabb & hi to all the newbies who have joined recently.
Nothing much to report here - AF due later in the week. She'll def come as there was no 'on-time' BDing.
Found out today about a couple of colleagues being pg. Statistically it's no surprise as I work in a large office with lots of women of the typical age.
Don't feel any resentment to them - as has been said before, it's my baby I'm after - not their baby.
Go on holiday at the weekend - don't think OH's SA results will be back for then so will book in with GP when we get back to discuss results & next steps.0 -
Welcome back Dibbdabs:wave: Which CD are you?
And how is your CBFM trial going? Is your fridge full of pee? And do you need to send them to CBFM one of these days?
Sorry if this has been asked/answered before:oIf there's any definite do's and don't's though I'd love to hear them.Don't feel any resentment to them - as has been said before, it's my baby I'm after - not their baby.
Whereabouts are you going on your holiday?:)0
