    TeamLowe,

I'm not upset that AF will come this month but I'm upset that it doesn't want to come NOW:D!

I'm aware that making babies is not an easy "job" (sometimes).
I'm glad a little bit that it didn't happen this cycle as we need to start saving some money for the baby + I want to give another go to my Lunaception test/project :D.

Hi Aida - good PMA! Hope AF arrives soon so that you can get on with the next month (or, even better, you get a BFP!)

Can you remind me how you are doing Lunaception? I had a really long cycle last month and hoping this month will be shorter. I've been sleeping in darkness (on CD9 now) - I use an eye mask but it falls off very quickly. We have quite thick curtains and I've unplugged my digital alarm clock which has quite a bright glow. When should I start introducing light? I was thinking I'll just put the alarm clock back on as that's like a nightlight.

Have a good weekend everybody :)

    Morning ladies

I've been a lurker on the forum for a while but think it's time to be brave and post. We've been TTC since Christmas when I came off the pill, I had an implant before that. Been having normal periods and last month bought a CBFM on eBay.

CBFM is showing me as CD6, asked for a test this morning and immediately went to High fertility. That's not right is it? Last month, the first month using it, I tested from day 6 and didn't get a high until day 13. I'm hoping it's just a glitch but am a bit concerned - I can't return it as it was second hand. I'm hoping some of you experts can put my mind at rest.

I've started introducing light on day 14 and 4 days later I had a positive OPK. You should try to be expose to light for at least 30 minutes in the morning + if the weather is nice, try to stay outdoors as much as possible.

Please let me know how that works. I was suprised to see that I've OV plus that it happened so so early in the cycle (my cycles are long as well). Good luck!

    Morning all,

Just tested and BFN, I think Im being silly in testing this early! (DPO 6-8)

I am going to try my hardest to leave it until wed now, when ill be ~ DPO11, hopefully a better chance of a BFP then??

Am going to an antiques fair now to take my mind off things!

Good morning, I'm off again, will be back Monday:wave:
Don't know if I ov'd yet, FF has given me a line, but not sure if that's correct:think:

2ba3c, I found acupuncture very relaxing:cool: I started with one of those IVF packages, and it really relaxed me, good luck:)
Jules68, (((hugs))):( I got my DHEA from www.dhea.com They are supposed to be the best ones, and are used by fertility clinics.

It's expensive so I only bought one. They have a UK page, but it never loads for me, so I got it from the US.

Took about 10 days to arrive, cost £39 for 180 pills. I take 3 a day, after brekkie, lunch and dinner, but sometimes I take 2 together if I forget:o
    Littlezee, hope I can change MIL's mind:o
    Lulu, welcome:wave:
On CBFM, did you pee on the right side of the stick? (non shiny side). Also was there a line?
    Is your cycles shorter type?
mogwai, wait until 14DPO:naughty: If you are pg, you'll still be pg at 14DPO:cool: Worrying and being anxious will not be good for your baby:o

Welcome lulu  can't help with your cbfm problem, other than to say that cbfm tend to take a couple (3, I think?) of cycles to learn your body's rhythms; you may just need to bear with it throwing out high's for a little while. You could use the time to be aware of your body's other signs of ov, ie cm changes etc.?

    Mogwai
, you're gonna drive yourself potty testing so early! :rotfl: there's no chance in the world you'll get a bfp before a potential bean implants, and that only happens 6-10dpo, then it needs chance to multiply hormone levels. I know the 2ww is excruciating when you're excited, but if you want to keep an eye on your chances during the 2ww you're better off temping. There's a link to the chances of getting +ive tests at what dpo, on the first page I think.

It's also worth remembering that even with well timed BD the chances of successfully conceiving in any given cycle is only around 25-30%. It is also considered "normal" to take a year to conceive.

Qq, I'm sure if she feels supported and reassured she'll go ahead with it. I'm guessing once you've told her you'll be there for xyz she'll be counting on it, so i would suggest either using a slightly vague (and therefore not altogether reassuring) turn of phrase, like "we'll sort it out so that somebody is always here when you need us" - which takes some of the heat off you - or only committing to what you know you can be there for, and stick to it wherever possible. If it is troubling her that she'd rather have you than her other son, hopefully that'll reassure her about having the op... Good luck :)

    Team lowe
, thanks : mil's not improving, if anything there's a bit of a decline, but I don't expect much of an improvement any more (without going into it too much, she has various problems they can't do much about due to a variety of conditions and the fact that she's not capable of withstanding surgery). We're currently unable to visit either, as the hospital's been closed to visitors all week by the Infection Control team, so it's both frustrating and a relief (visiting is exhausting and she's been in a long time now:o) that we can't visit her :o:cool: I've pretty well given up on the idea that she'll live to see any grandchild(ren) in the flesh, but I'd settle for her seeing us pregnant right now :o if only I could control that

    Happy weekend everyone

Lulu - I sometimes get a high early and then it stays high for few days before peak so don't rule it out. Your cycles will change first few months after coming off pill so not usual to get a change with last month. I use a cbfm and having been using it a while and sometimes the highs are earlier than other months. Welcome to the thread too

BZ - hugs for mil, you needed a break from visiting as it is really tiring and it has meant you have been able to bd this week. You are doing all you can but when you get your BFP cannot be guaranteed and so try not to put pressure on yourself. Hope that comes accross ok it's just I don't want you to add more strain and stress on yourself.

Mogwai - it is far too early to test and if it doesn't happen quickly for you then you will drive yourself with bfn's which will not help. You should not test until 14dpo but sometimes when you can't wait you can test a couple of days early but not before implantation has taken place.

desismileys_1562.gif The car is back with a £1200 bill to go with it. I'm sure I will appreciate the car being back soon. We have done 25 days without it now. Need to go and do a big supermarket shop but will maybe just stick to the reduced aisle and the value range after that bill. :o

On the upside - at least I have new fancy smileys to play with now. desismileys_6636.gif Bigzippy for your help. I am far too excited by the new smileys tho!

And my temperature has taken a rare ol dip on my charts this morning desismileys_1471.gif I thought I was maybe gearing up for ov? My Ovulation Chart And I thought I had EWCM yesterday but maybe it was just leftovers. Trying to BD every day, but I know we won't be able to keep that up for too long :o
