Hi all,
As i seem to be suddenly heading into 'the zone' again, can someone remind me how much cough medicine I am supposed to be taking. Ov is normally about CD11-14, so I get the feeling I should be starting ye olde SMEP.
Hiya Code. You won't know me hiding here in my AE, but I also know you from the wedding board! Good luck with the test.
I take whatever the measure (5ml) is three times a day from about cd5 until after ov - hope that helps.0 -
Morning everyone,
CD1 for me, so it looks like the HSG didn't work its magic with me. Never mind...I've always liked the name Hollytwigglet35 wrote: »Had my blood tests back, and i have OV fine, so it must be a case of bad timeing.
I thought it would help knowing i work but its made things worse, now im more frustrated than ever
AF due today for me so lets see if she turns up.
I should have tested today but i hate seeing just the one line and couldent face that today.codemonkey wrote: »Hello. Long term lurker and waiting to ttcer needing some help making sense of something. Last year I was diagnosed with a health problem which potentially is affecting my fertility, but its boring and I wont go into it here. We've been contraception free for a year and nada.
What does this mean? Did I just get a bad batch of tests? Should I go and buy a "proper" test?
No doubt I'll be back in 10 minutes, ashamedly posting that AF has showed and being embarrassed at how stupid I am, although I normally get 2 or 3 days warning spotting and nothing!!AS for the tests - it sounds like you've got a tlp there, and need a nice clear Clear Blue digi to confirm!
Good luck! :j

Jules68, how are you?
I'm getting on a bit age wise, and have started taking DHEA which is supposed make eggs younger thus reducing mcs. Just thought I'd mention.
I've only started taking them from last week, but have good ewcm, so it may be working:o:cool: Any reason she's changed her mind? Hope you're successful. Is DH worried out of his mind, from the other end of the world?
We (MIL & me) knew that, and told DH back in January, but seems it didn't quite register until now:huh:
I'll go to MILs in mid-March, and try to talk some sense into her. She can be very stubborn. DH thinks MIL changed her mind because I deserted her:huh:We did indeed... wondering if we can make it a double hat-trick tonight!:o DH *really* wants this baby... :Acan someone remind me how much cough medicine I am supposed to be taking.Home again feel like pants thumping headache and totally shattered. Hi all!
I wrote out a lovely long reply and typically, lost it. Gah! Hope everyone is doing well, I need to read back and catch up on news and bfps (I hope!)
I had my first session of acupuncture today, with a lady who specialised in fertility acupuncture I was quite surprised by her diagnosis and understanding of what was going on and also the actual sensation at the time. Plus I felt all discombobulated when I initially got off the table, then I seemed to have a lot more energy - a bit 0f a buzz, then I came home and fell asleep on the sofa (nana nap!) - I NEVER fall asleep on the sofa, so I must have really relaxed - which is good in itself as I am just one big ball o' stress most of the time.
She wants me to go every week, but at £45 a time, plus ££s for herbs, I don't think it's going to happen with me being out of work. It might be a bi monthly thing.
So who knows, I don't thin there is any scientific research that proves it works, but I have hope!
Hope everyone is well and happy and ready to enjoy their weekends!
It's funny - I updated my status to FB earlier to say that I fancied going out tonight, shortly before I fell asleep on the sofa!

I'll have to look into that. I'm not getting any younger either. Fingers crossed for you.

 hello time2deal. You've got me all intrigued.
Maybe I should have used an AE.
Feel free to discuss, or not discuss, your health problem.AS for the tests - it sounds like you've got a tlp there, and need a nice clear Clear Blue digi to confirm!
Good luck! :j
I have something called hyperprolactinaemia, caused by an adenoma on my pituitary gland. At the moment, they're not treating it because I still get periods, but they'll reconsider treatment if I can't conceive. We've been ntnp for over a year now, so not sure if they'll count that as not conceiving??? Not sure. Doesn't help that I'm the oldest person in my family ever to not start a family. The rest all started in their late teens and are hyper fertile. Maybe they stole my baby allocation??
Ahem, I fished the tests out of the bin for another lookand they're so so pale, I'm, having trouble convincing myself that they're more than ghost lines. I think I'm going to hold out on the digi til the weekend is over. Those things are expensive and I'm tight :rotfl:
Oh there's a thought. Just remembered I have a smear on Monday. I was expecting to be well into a new cycle by then. Do I still go?Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Hello to everyone,
I've done a test this morning and BFN. Not impressed! I used the poundland test and I was suprised by the fact that I had a nice control line and where the test line should be, it was NOTHING. The pregnancy tests are much better then OV as they always have a faint second line.Aida - have you tested? I just had a sneaky look at your chart...looking good... let us know how you get on
Mrsj28 Don't know what happens with me but I'm 14DPO, no SS, no cramps (had some on Tueday), my temp is higher today than yesterday and a BFN with FMU. So...who knows what happens but I was sooo happy that I've OV so early. I was 100% that for the first time in my life I would've had a 29-30 days cycle. I always have 35+ cycles so...I'm  +and I want to see the witch coming as soon as possible as I'm not pregnant! She is such a nasty lady! She always comes when we don't expect!! SO Miss Witch (she's not married as no one can stand her!) I'm NOT expecting you today or tomorrow! Hope this works:D.
codemonkey wrote: »Mogwai, stop ssing. The symptoms are the same as AF symptoms. Says me. I have no symptoms aside from late AF, and I'm ss that no symptoms may be a symptom.
I wish that was true Codemonkey!
