Mogwai - welcome to the thread, I hope your stay here is short and you get your bfp soon. We all ss at some time, some more than others, but it is so easy to imagine symptons and af symptoms are similar so it can be tricky.
Codemonkey - I would but a superdrug test and try tomorow with fmu or if possible wait a couple more days and then test with fmu on a superdrug test and then if there is a line try a clure blue digi. Good luck and do update us.
Derby - hugs for af
Twiglett - hugs, i know how you feel whilst waiting for blood results and other tests, i hope they are all ok and then when they don't show any problem I feel down as I feel that having tried all this time without success that my body is letting me down. But pma wise, it is good news that you ov.
QQ - sorry to hear about your mil, fingers crossed you can change her mind. Exciting that you are near ov as that will make the timing right I think?0 -
Mogwai - the symptom thing is tricky. Pre-AF symptoms are so similar to some early pregnancy symptoms, and I also find I can pretty much induce all sorts of symptoms by just thinking about them! I would wait until a couple of weeks after ov before taking any symptoms too seriously so that you don't get too disappointed in case AF shows up.
She says... like I can ever manage to do that....:rotfl:0 -
Mogwai, I woudn't bother in ss if I was you, or at least not seriously, I know that's very difficult to do. Nearly everyone on this thread has had a symptom of pregnancy every single month, I know I do. So don't pay any attention anymore to what my body is doing (well at least I didn't this month
Bit lost this weekend after the fun of last one in Belfast, I've got no work tomorrow so not sure what to do. I've only got my gym induction thingy in the morning that's it for the weekend. I want to make more of life at the moment, I keep feeling as if it's all passing me by. I got invited to New York in September with my friends, I would love to go, but the sensible side of me is going on about if I use some of my savings to go then that is less house deposit/ baby fund.
Fingers crossed Codemonkey, I don't think I could keep even the slightest chance of me being pregnant quiet from my hubby. I know the day I get pregnant I'm going to be one of those that screams the house down in joy, rather than being able tell him in a really sweet way.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -

Vesper, I remember you from the weddings board!! I didn't think I'd want to keep this quiet from DH but we've been here before, although not with the weird tests, and been disappointed and the chances are so small, I don't want to raise his hopes for no reason iyswim? Whenever he knows that AF is late he doesn't even ask anymore. Just rolls his eyes and jokingly goes "why can't you be normal?"
Mogwai, stop ssing. The symptoms are the same as AF symptoms. Says me. I have no symptoms aside from late AF, and I'm ss that no symptoms may be a symptom.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

LOL, I think you're right though, I need to nip the ssing in the bud before I start annoying myself and my family :rotfl:
I managed to get my gp to do a cd21 test for progesterone, getting the results next week so Im looking forward to that!We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic.

 thought I recognised your 'name' from somewhere.
gaaaah I'm so bored at the moment, I'm watching Titanic. I should really be cutting the lawn or digging up my veggie patch, but think I'm going to do that Sunday if the weather is still nice. Or may dig my bike out.
What's everyone else's plans for the weekend? I really need some inspiration.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -
BZ - hope the last shot happened! Why would you not go for CD21 bloods? Nothing to lose (other than a bit of blood).
I haven't bothered going for them, because I only need to get it done before I go back to the FS on 23rd May. I won't get any results between now and then, and the test needs to be done at the FS's hospital (about 9miles away?) which means I need the car off DH, which makes his day longer and more stressy, cos he works 11miles in the opposite direction. I needed him to BD last night, so he didn't need extra stress of getting up at 6am to get to workI'm also hoping that if I do the test in a future cycle I might be a bit further past ov, so it might actually show up on the test how much my cycles and hormones have changed since losing 3+st
Bigzippy - I still can't see the nice shiny smilies  Can't see a mountains icon.Is it when you go to reply to message?
HTHBored of waiting for OV now. Problem with long cycles is that we start the cycle with good intentions and start off BDing every other day... by the time OV eventually happens we're too tired and CBA!
I know that feeling too Birdie! I never expect a cycle shorter than 35 days, so for the first, say 15days, I just ignore the possibility of ov"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
CD1 today. Feeling very rough and unhappy. No wine to make me feel happy because I have given up alcohol for lent. Boo.Hi All!! :j
Thought I'd join this thread as we have started actively trying this month, last 2 months before that we were NTNP, which I got a bit fed up with as I was expecting it to happen without all that ovulation timing palava!!Good morning:wave:
I have TMI great ewcm, so seems like ov is very near:cool:
My MIL has decided not to go ahead with her heart op , so will have to pay a visit to convince her otherwise soon...Littlezee, if you haven't ov'd, then the day 21 test will say you haven't...
I know, which is another reason I cba. I don't want all the tests to say that I don't ov, when I do now - just not when they're expecting it byCan you change me to 1dpo (til further notice at least
) please? I think the cervix is on it's way back down...
Hope you BD'd yesterday:)"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
Mogwai, welcome:wave:
One usually get watery cm just prior to ov, but we do get similar stuff mid 2ww and just before AF, so one never know for certain:p
As for that 2ww website,
I've added you to the list on the first page, let me know if you'd like your age added:)
Derby, hugs for AF, but you are still fertile for few more months after HSG:o
Cherrydrop, yay for your OH passing his driving test!:j
Now he can drive you to the hospital when you are in labour:cool:
Twigglett, glad your blood tests came back fine, always good to know things work in there:o
Fingers crossed AF doesn't show this year.
codemonkey, I'd get the digi, good luck!:j
Primmer, timing should be right if I ov soon, pity DH isn't here, I have great ewcm:o Why do I only get great ewcm when DH isn't here or when not doing IVF:huh:0 -
Hi all,
As i seem to be suddenly heading into 'the zone' again, can someone remind me how much cough medicine I am supposed to be taking. Ov is normally about CD11-14, so I get the feeling I should be starting ye olde SMEP.
Hiya Code. You won't know me hiding here in my AE, but I also know you from the wedding board! Good luck with the test.0
