    Happy Friday! :j

Bored of waiting for OV now. Problem with long cycles is that we start the cycle with good intentions and start off BDing every other day... by the time OV eventually happens we're too tired and CBA! :o

    Hiya Ladies! :)

Been AWOL for quite a while, have been reading every day but just not really had much to say..

I'm so so sorry to the ladies who have had losses recently :(

:grouphug: Big hugs for the ladies with AF, imminent AF and BFNs.

I stocked up on some 99p shops pregnancy tests yesterday, and i've used 2 already. I am going to be so addicted!! I even know it's too early to contemplate using them but I just had to have a go :rotfl:

I thought I knew when I ovulated but my tummy has been doing some really weird things so I may have got it completely wrong. I had serious OV pain on Sat 18th Feb and Sun 19th and lots of EWCM. Luckily (i think) we had DTD on the Thursday beforehand and continued to do so on the Sat, Sun, Mon & Tues (DH didn't know what had hit him!) We were trying some kind of variation on the SMEP plan but we kind of lost our stride by the Wednesday, we were knackered. After this though, I completely dried up (sorry TMI!!) normally I have some kind of CM throughout my cycle, even if its really really minimal I still notice it, but after that pain and BD I had nothing??? If my cycle was normal -which I am still trying to figure out- this means I should be due AF tomorrow, right? Which is why i'm thinking I was wrong about OV pain, but it was SO strong on that day I was positive i'd got it right this time.

QQ will be so angry with me, but i've been doing so much SS'ing over the last 2 weeks DH is now completely duped into thinking I am 100% preggo!! For a week after supposed OV and BD, around 1.30pm everyday I was having really strong waves of nausea (i KNOW it's far too early for all of that!!!) I think it was psychological though. My tummy felt like I was due AF no-where near the right time, literally like I was about to come on every time I went to the toilet. I think my trips to the toilet are now 10x longer because i'm staring at my knickers instead of actualy using the it! I have awful constipation, i'm normally pretty 'regular' and the top of my stomach is getting bigger!! I can stop SS'ing about that though because 1.i've been on holiday for 2 weeks, i have probably just put the weight on. 2. I normally walk to work every day, and am on my feet all day, now i've been on holiday i've been sitting, not excercising and also not eating much fibre-ish food so thats probably why I can't poo!!!

I've still got about 9 days until AF is due if my cycle is the same as last month, i think. So I would have got OV completely wrong, wouldn't I? I think it's definately time to invest in some OPKs. I would like to try temping but I have different shifts everyday so wake up at different times, and sometimes I work overnight shifts (7pm-7am) so that would probably mess up any temperatures as well.

Honestly, this month has been the worst for me regarding SS. I think it's because we did really well with BD compared to normal and I just assumed we caught it because of the pain and EWCM. I'm sort of at peace with us not catching this month though, i'll still be a grumpy cow when Af shows her face though.

Sorry for the mammoth post ladies, just had to get it all out!!

    hi CherryDrop
This month I OV'd a week before I was expecting to, not sure if my cycle was still settling down due to coming off the pill. Luckily I was doing OPKs and CM checking, so we didn't miss it :D
If you think the signs were all there, it's definitely possible, especially if you haven't seen any fertile CM since :)

    Hi All!! :j

Thought I'd join this thread as we have started actively trying this month, last 2 months before that we were NTNP, which I got a bit fed up with as I was expecting it to happen without all that ovulation timing palava!!

So this month, I *tried* using OPKs to pinpoint ovulation, but for some reason I didn't get a positive, just faint bands. I was away for the weekend though and couldnt test then, and on Fri/Sat I got ovulation pains, so I just went by that and my ewcm which I'd had for a few days!

Am now DPO 5/6/7 and have tested the last 2 mornings - obv BFN as its prob too early for implantation even!! I'm keen! I have been having really watery cm since OV and Ive read that thats a symptom, but maybe its just a case of me noticing these things more this month??

So does anyone else just use their cm to judge when they are having OV? I don't think I have the patience for BBT though, I would prob forget to do it most days, rendering the info useless :rotfl:

Good luck to everyone else who is testing now!
