    Morning ladies :)

another -ve opk yesterday, and high temp this morning, so I definitely think I've OV'd over the weekend. FF didn't though, until I discarded all the higher temps taken on days when I was dozing/restless before temping, which made it put the cover line in :o hopefully as time goes on I'll be better at waking up to take my temperature properly so it won't be a problem.

Re: drinking/exercising etc in the 2ww, I plan to carry on as normal until 6/7dpo, and then act as I would if I was pg, as that's when implantation occurs. We're going to watch the rugby in the pub on Saturday when I'll be 7dpo though :o. Not sure how I'm going to get away with not drinking very much, when we planned it I was expecting to OV much later, as this is the earliest it's ever happened. Think i'll stick to halves of beer, and intersperse them with soft drinks. I normally do this anyway, so will just have to add more soft drinks and hope I can get away with it. My friend we're going with knows we're trying though, so she'll be watching me like a hawk :rotfl:

Exercise wise, I'm sticking to pilates and swimming anyway at the moment, both things I plan to continue when PG. As soon as I get a bfp i'll let my pilates instructor know, but I know she's fine with PG ladies as there are 2 in our class atm! There was also a pg lady in the step aerobics class I used to go to  I can't coordinate my movements enough now, no idea how i'd do it with a bump!

On the subject of whether to continue with normal life in the 2ww perhaps it's worth considering what fertility clinics advise following an embryo transfer. After all, you do actually have an embryo inside your tum, waiting to implant!

Exercise, travelling, food, etc. is all 'business as usual'. Obviously alcohol should be reduced (but you'd expect that anyway if you're TTC) - I was told no more than six units a week was advisable (two to three large glasses of wine). The only other advice you're given is to try not to overheat, as this can affect implantation. I was told not to have superhot baths, and not to do 'strenuous' exercise, e.g. run a marathon (fat chance). Oh, and don't take ibuprofen.

During my successful 2ww I got on a plane, ran for a bus, had a few glasses of wine, went swimming most days. Don't sweat it too much; if the embryo's strong it will implant, pretty much regardless of what its mummy's doing :)

    Morning all.

Back at work after my 4 hour round trip. As has been said, nice to see OH & he was pleased to see me.

Unfortunately he didn't manage to 'complete' this morning (although did last night).

Still no positive on OPK so may not have been the best timed for conception anyway.

I'll see what happens over the next couple of days. I suppose if I don't get a positive until Thursday it may be worth calling the hospital to see if we can put SA back a few days (although OH is away most of next week so it could get tricky).

If I get the positive tomorrow morning then it's probably not worth changing the SA as we won't be able to BD until Friday night.

    Oh so complicated.

I was laughing at myself last night though as I did the journey - then thought about Q's hubby who crossed the Atlantic just for a test. Realised my journey was minor (and cheaper) in comparision.

Morning ladies. 2 ww is a pain in the bum with hormones. Got 7 days until I test as well.

On the issue of exercise, when I was pregnant with DS I carried on exercising for about 6 months into my pregnancy and this helped me stay trim. You should carry on as normal unless you participate in dangerous sports like rugby or sky diving.
I know people who are professional runners and they ran all the way up to the last month of pregnancy and were back running a month after giving birth.

Fingers crossed that your timings work out, whenever ovulation comes along TTC40.

I'm now in the same boat. CD13 today and no sign of a positive OPK or a peak on CBFM. Usually I actually ovulate on CD12 or CD13. DH is now away until Thursday night, and worked late last night until 4 am, so wasn't keen to dtd this morning. So the last time we BD'd was Sunday night so I am hoping that I don't get a positive OPK today or a peak tomorrow. On the other hand, as I don't seem to have ovulated last month, I would rather ovulate this month and miss the egg, than have two consecutive months where I don't which might suggest that time has run out for me :(

My CBFM sticks are really weird this month though. It is a new box, and the lines on them have been super faint all month (both LH and oestrogen). Not sure if I have a faulty box or whether for some reasons my hormone levels are just really low for some reason. Clearly the monitor can read them as it has been giving me a high from CD6 but they are very hard to see with the naked eye. Has anyone else had this with CBFM?

    Morning Lady Bugs

Stuck in the 2ww and annoyed as I know there is no chance we are pg this cycle and just want af to arrive so I can move on.

Have my next reflex session next week and massage booked in on saturday.

Trying to keep my pms up but some days are easier than others.

Another friend announced with her scan piccie at the weekend on FB I lost the plot a bit and turned into a green eyed monster :o

I just feel that time is running out and that I am never going to get number 3 forever baby. :o

What is everyone giving up for Lent?????

I am giving up bread & choccies :)
If you can think it........it will happen

    Hello people,

I've not been posting for a few days as I've been really busy at work and boy there's some catching up to do. From a brief read it looks like there's a bit of pma going round at the mo which is great. I like the idea of looking at ttc as a 6 month window rather than a monthly thing. That would work for me as I have a good window till July this year, then I won't be able to try for 2 months as OH and I go super mad at work but they Sept - Xmas could be my second window.

Anyways, CD12 for me and had my first high on CBFM. Last cycle I had highs from day 6 and got my peak around day 14. Wondering if I won't have so many highs this time as it's my second cycle of using it. Operation BD shall commence tonight!

Re exercise in the 2WW, this time I'm off skiing for a week which I am soooo excited about. And there's free wine in the evening as part of our deal so lord knows how I'm going to restrict myself to 2/3 large glasses. Have to say I'm a lot more relaxed this cycle and not so bothered if it doesn't happen as I know I'm probably not going to be giving my body the best chance.

Also, I would say it's really important to keep exercising whilst pregnant to keep healthy. Yes, stay away from the skydiving but surely lots of walking/swimming/gentle jogging is only going to do you and the baby good as long as its done within medical guidelines and you were reasnobly fit and healthy in the first place.

    Good morning:wave:

CD11, and have not temped at all this cycle:shocked:
I've temped since my mc back in Aug 2009, so it feels a bit odd, but strangely liberating:cool: No OPKs etc too. No DH as well, but never mind that:D

    ilovecushions, any news?
COMP!, glad to finally see you here:wave:
Would you like your age added to the list on the 1st page?
    Littlezee, (((hugs))).
My MIL is in hospital again, but this time I have work, so BIL is taking care of her for a change. Wish I was there, but it can't be helped:(
Abis, you will get there very soon, just hang in there (((hugs))).
    TeamLowe, (((hugs))).
Try to have some activity planned throughout 2ww, like getting some treats, going to the cinema etc to take your mind off:o Not MSE, but if it lifts your mood, it must be doing good to the baby:cool:
colli, I know, FF VIP should be banned:naughty::D
I like the way you see TTC in 6 months blocks:)
mrsj28, (((hugs))) for the flu:o Do you know if you ov'd?
Aida, I'd keep exercising if you are used to it, but would not start something new during 2ww.
    Definitely Blonde, have you ov'd?
TTC40, well done for doing the drive, even without +OPK:D
    Any sign of ov?
As for DH, it was that stupid doctor's fault, he said DH needs to come before CD10 in case I ov early, but like I ever ov early:mad:
Fannyanna, hope your dream comes true, I love those didn't know I was pregnant stories:happyhear
    Abis, yay for the cat!:j
Pancakes, hmm... maybe I should get some:cool:
Birdie, good luck for your pancake run:D
LittleMoog, yay for ov line:cool: Now the 2www:D
Nicki, no I never had that with CBFM. How odd:huh:
Tinkwings, I gave up temping this cycle, so I'll keep that for lent:D
