    Evening ladies

Another one here who's been reading along for a while and not posting.

Congratulations on the BFP Scottishchick :j:j

Hugs to all that need them.

Things got a bit rubbish for me and everything felt like the end of the world, so felt a bit too miserable to post as nothing nice seemed to come to mind - only negativity.

Things still ongoing, but somehow I am brighter about it all now. Car is still broken (12 days now without it - its horrible). The first job on it was completed, then something else came to light that was wrong so that all needed mended - then it was all put back together and the bill wasn't too bad at all and everything looked good. But since then the oil pressure light has come on and my brother doesn't know why or how to fix it. So its back with the specialist again now - sigh!!

And the cat is still poorly - well not as poorly as she was but not 100%. She has had a few accidents at home, which is not like her at all. She always uses her litter tray or goes outside. I think I will have to take her back to the vets to see whats going on. She is fine in herself now again, eating fine, playing etc.

Not much going on with TTC at the mo. Have started temping as my thermometer arrived a couple of days ago. I'm on fertility friend - how do I get a link of it to the opening page? I tried posting a link but it didn't work when I previewed it cos it asked me to log in again.

No idea when I will ov or how long my cycle will be etc due to everything being quite irregular so far since coming off the pill. When should I start using the IC OPK's? I'm CD8 today, and my last cycle was 39 days, altho the previous 2 cycles were 31/32 days.
 Married my lobster in July 2011

TTC # 2 since Oct 2011 - good things come to those who wait :o

 2013 is going to be our lucky year

I hope I don't jinx myself but I think my bleeding was AF rather than crazy heavy bleeding again :j. I've only had a light flow today so it could be on its way out (and it's only CD5 so that's a record for me - although I think I lost a weeks worth of blood in the first two days).

Whilst doing the weekly food shop I started looking at the vitamins and saw some Soy Isoflavones and ended up buying them. I've seen that you can take them CD3 - CD7 or CD5 - CD9 so as I'm on CD5 I'm taking it as a sign to start taking them. I initially thought there's no point in starting it this cycle as if it did make me ov I wouldn't be able to take advantage of the moment but I thought it might take a few cycles for it to kick in so no harm in starting it now.

Miss Emma Jane, welcome:wave: Would you like to be listed on the first page? Let me know some details, and I'll put you on:)

As for ewcm, are you sure it's ewcm? The remains of BD can look incredibly similar? Anyway, if you think it could be ewcm, I'd BD once more:j

Yes that would be great, thanks :j I am 24, TTC for no 1 since yesterday so 02/12.

I read about it online, and I *think* it is EWCM from the ways I read you can tell them apart, but it has crossed my mind that it could be the remains of BD. Won't be BD'ing tonight as I am off to sleep soon ready for work early tomorrow, and he is in the living room watching Top Gear, lol! I will keep my fingers crossed, I suppose if it is EWCM it could be a good thing :A

Just wanted to pop on and say hi

Me and my OH decided to start trying for a baby last month, but a smear dealyed us for a bit, due to nurse observations, but now that the smear is ok it is systems a go on BD front :D

A little background I have 2 children from previous marriage and OH has no children, although I always wanted more children, I let OH decide if he wanted a baby. A chat in December between us both and we both reliased we would like to try, but leave it up to fate IYKWIM.

Anyway, before last month I had no idea about the scientology of baby making, I know, I know, but I was young when I had my 2 other children and luckily fell pregnant within a month with both of them. I am now 10 years older (34), and I am sure a lot less fertile and my OH is on heaps of medication that will probably affect his fertility too.

I have read up on it all and been observing my bodily changes and I am pretty sure we missed the boat this month whilst waiting for smear results, so now I am just awaiting AF so I can measure the duration of my cycle.

Anyway, sorry so long just wanted to say hi to you all really, hope it is ok to join x

Welcome Miss EJ! Hope your stay here is short and sweet, in the nicest possible way :D

I had a big cry today and got really irritable this afternoon. I looked back on my chart and I seem to have low moods/mood swings around 7/8dpo every month! Its funny how when you actually spend time looking, patterns emerge.

I have an interview for a new job on Wednesday. It would be a bit of a trek to get to (1 hr 40 mins each way), BUT it's only 2 days a week, so that could work for us and it's pretty decent money for a part time role.

I need to see if I actually have any work clothes. Being self employed means I usually sit in my PJs at home!

Still not feeling evenly remotely pg, so assuming not worked. No symptoms at all. No period pains, no ovulation pain. Nothing.

I ordered some cheapie hpt's from ebay, so if they arrive by Wednesday, I will test on Wednesday - but AF is due on Thursday and I am like clockwork - 14 days after my CBFM peak, AF is due. So if they haven't, I'll wait out AF.
    Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j
  • Probably nothing new to most on this board, but for a case of personal experience: My OH and I ended up paying for a consultant after a lot of problems and found that she needed surgery for endometriosis. Following that surgery the consultant gave us the advice to do the bad thing days 10 to 20, every other day. I think her advice was designed to stop us from stressing about the exact times of ovulation etc in case that stress caused its own problems with fertility.

  • hello girls, hi to the newbies and I see I missed a bfp for scottishchick so big congrats!
I've been miserable all weekend and I need to have a whinge :(

Friday evening was a family birthday celebration and both pregnant sister and sil were there. The meal in the restaurant was ok, despite the only topic of conversation seemed to be pregnancy themed, I was smiling nicely and pretending I was fine. After dinner we all went to grandpas for tea and birthday cake. Step sister whipped a fetal Doppler out of her handbag and some gel and squeeled about how exciting it would be to hear the heartbeats. She had used it when she had her little one last year. I get handed her 5 month old baby so she can use the monitor on my sister and sil's bellies. We heard the heartbeats and everyone was all excited and smiling, everyone except me that is. I was holding this cute little baby and watching my sister and sil with their swollen stomachs out and hearing these swooshy noises from the machine. All my family were saying oooh and ahhh and then saying to me oooh you really should get on with having kids before its too late. then sister (who I had confided about us ttc'ing) announces that I am indeed trying and she is sure it will be my turn next and I should hurry up so we can be pregnant at the same time.

I went home and cried. A lot.

DH is away as well so I have spent the weekend alone and miserable.
