Rum & Cleo - thoughts are with you.

Still no smiley on the digital OPK or a line on the IC (not sure why I feel the need to do both other than I wanted to use digitals this month & the ICs are just a cheapie add on).

Doing the 2 hour drive to meet OH tonight. Hope he can perform tonight & again in the morning. It will need to be an early one so I can have a relax afterwards & then do a 2.5 hour drive back (work is further away).

Will be gutted if I don't get a smiley in the morning.

It would be so much easier if we could do this without the need for blokes to get involved!

My OH really annoyed me last week but I must admit & didn't sulk as I usually would have done cos I knew there was a chance I would ov over the weekend & didn't want to miss it.

It would probably be better if you don't get a smiley in the morning TTC40. You are doing it to cover you in case you do get one tomorrow, but in fact if you didn't get it until Wednesday or Thursday, then your OH would be back when you ovulate so the timing would be better. (Thursday for a positive would be better than Wednesday but you would still be in the zone even with a Wednesday positive). Anyway enjoy your night away.

    Morning ladies :)

Rumfeeble, I can't believe what your sister did  I'm really cross on your behalf, it was really out of order for her to break your confidence like that. I know it can't be unsaid now, but I think I'd have to tell her how upset/betrayed I felt.

Bit confused by my temp this morning, seems a bit lower than I expected, but my CM has gone back to sticky, so I think I OV'd overnight Sat/Sun.

Will do an OPK later just to confirm it's still negative, and see if I can get DH to BD just in case. He's pretty knackered though, and I'm getting a bit tender down there  :rotfl:

QQ can you put me down as 2dpo today please. My LP is normally only 10-11 days, so expecting AF on 28-29th Feb, so can you put me on the Testing List for 1st March?

Huge hugs Rumfeeble, some people just don't understand how lucky they really are when they get PG without having to really work at it and can be quite insensitive without meaning to be.

My closest friends know we're TTC and I'd like to think that by sharing how awkward it actually is IRL (rather than my SIL aka Mrs I-concieved-within-two-weeks-of-coming-off-the-pill) my friends will go into the TTC lark when they're ready with more open eyes than I had and they won't feel like failures if it doesn't happen immediately. I honestly thought we'd be PG by Christmas, then thought maybe it'd happen by our 1st wedding anniversary (which was Saturday), now I'm just hoping and praying that it'll have happened by my birthday in May! :( The saddest thing is that when my last AF arrived I was actually pleased that my cycle had *only* been 48 days instead of 60!

I feel so silly for thinking about this in particular but I really just wish I'd know one way or another what's going to happen because I'm so looking forward to my friend's wedding in August and want to get my outfit sorted! I'm usually so well prepared when it comes to big events and it is killing me that I can't go shopping in the sales for something fab to wear because there's a chance I won't fit in it by then. :/ OH has said that I should buy something expensive and fitted because I'll be sure to get PG then, but I'll just be gutted that I've wasted money if I did that! On the other hand I've had a little look and found a gorgeous maternity dress I'd love to wear and it's reduced right now but can't buy it as that'd be tempting fate! Gah... sort yourself out body so I can go shopping! ;)

Sending big hugs to Cleo too, hope you feel better today and you enjoy the rest of your holiday! :)

I've been away for a few days so missed the welcome to the newbies  and congratulations for Scottishchick! :j

Sending a hug out to BigZippy too... just because I think you could do with one! :)

P.s. Tink - have you ever noticed that there seems to be a pattern of arguing with DH around ov time? I'm the same with my DH, and find I get quite irritable and less laid back around ov (which doesn't help with the well-timed BD ;):p)... maybe it's worth you considering/bearing in mind...?

Totally he does this have been part of our arugument over the weekend . Maybe I should not tell him when I get my :) anymore. I just wish wish wish we coulf go back to having a "normal" s-x life again :o:o

Hugs to Rum & all those in need :A
If you can think it........it will happen
  • Morning guys,

Just typed a post and lost it, am on my phone but it's bloomin' annoying!!

Been a bit AWOL for a few weeks, we had a long weekend away and i've been working loads and actually studying for a change and not cleaning to put off studying!!

Hi newbies and huge congratulations to Scottishchick!!!

Happy 1st anniversary birdie, Saturday was my first anniversary too!!

Well AF showed this month so I am now on CD 11, hoping to get a smiley in the next couple of days as we are going to the in-laws in holland thus-sun and I think it would be very strange having to BD in their house! DH is saying it would add to the fun!!

Nothing much going on TTC wise although we did start using preseed last month so could I have a * on the list please QQ?

Have also upped my agnus cactus from 1 to 2 taking it from cd 1-ov ad last months LP was 10 days, got this months up to 11 days so it's hopefully working.

Looks like a lot of ladies are going through a hard time just now. Rumfeeble- hugs, that's really not on of your sister breaking your trust! Cleo- hugs and hope you're having an absolute blast in NY!!! Hugs also to TTC40 and Tink & BZippy from a couple of pages back. Just hugs all round to those who need them!!!

Right if post doesn't work this time I'm going to throw my bl@@dy phone out the window!!!
