  • Morning all! :)

Welcome to the thread Candlewax and butterfly72! :hello:

Hugs for CD1 dizsie bubba and hugs for tea lover too. Hope you're ok xxx

Sounds like you have a lovely OH Birdie25! What a nice pressie. :)

Nicki pmsl at the thought of your DS1 playing his violin for you, I only managed to get to grade 2 viola and my mum used to tell me to stop practising whenever I played it! :o:rotfl:

tinkwings, right back at ya! :)

    rumfeeble, lovely words :lovethoug

Well, we had a Valentine's meal at home last night and DH got me some lovely flowers when we went food shopping. He'd also got me some other gifts too, so I'm a very lucky lady. :happyhear

We shared a bottle of Asti too, it went down a treat. :D

Felt very happy and content last night

DH said I could watch whatever I want on telly tonight and he'll do the washing up... then I realised his footie team must be playing and he admitted he wanted to listen to the commentary on the radio :rotfl: Suits me though! :D

Hope everyone has a lovely Valentine's Day. :)
  • Hello Ladies - Happy Valentines day! <3<3<3

I was hoping I could come back and join you again for a bit, I really missed you all and the support and good wishes on this thread while I was away.

We are not meant to be trying again until April but my doctor was pretty clear that I only have a year to 18 months to get pregnant before I will need a hysterectomy so I'm just praying that my lovely lonely ovary will do its job before then (and I didn't want to waste two months)

So Hi  to the new ladies that have joined and congratulations :T to all the BFPs and ((((hugs)))) to anyone is still here.

QQ - can you put me down as CD 20 & 6DPO
  • Hi lemonmelon :hello: Fingers crossed you have a short stay here x

Primmer lovely words. It's hard sometimes to remember to try and enjoy each day and that was a good reminder to do so.

    Welcome lemonmelon.

I'm also loving the martin today!

I feel overwhelmed by everything. TTC, work, family, health - it's all just too much at the moment.

I hate that I've become so whiny and miserable, I feel like I'm being crushed.

tea lover - massive ((hugs)). is there any way you can break down the big overwhelming feeling into smaller things? I sometimes find that helps - dealing with smaller things, or even taking a step back from one or two of the things which are overwhelming and concentrating on one thing at a time.

If the above is really unhelpful, please ignore me but still accept the big hugs!

Please let off steam on here as much as it helps, that's what we are all here for :o

tealover - as mrsj28 said it is helpful to break things down. It's so easy for things to get on top of you and then once you hit that point everything simply feels too much. You've listed the key areas (TTC, work, family etc) now try to break them down a little bit. What exactly is it that is making you unhappy at work? Is there anything that you can do to try and make things a bit better?

If you wanted to share I'm sure everyone here would be happy to listen. This lot is a nice bunch :-)

But if you're not ready to talk about it or to try and break things done yet (and that's fine - sometimes we just need to find our feet) just try to be nice to yourself. Have a nice cup of tea, maybe have a nice bubble bath later. Do something to treat yourself or something that will make you feel a little bit more content x
