Never thought I'd see the day when you'd be encouraging SSing! Lol can't wait to see the results of skintchick's test though :T

:rotfl: I am actually trying to talk myself out of being hopeful, though, because I was so gutted last month.

Still no AF or any sign of it really, not that I ever know when it's coming. I'm still feeling achy/stretchy down there though.

Depending on when I OVd I'm either waaaay past Ov or not that far past in my terms (never get a positive till 15dpo) so who knows? If I ovd the second time I had EWCM then I'm not due on till Friday (18 days after ov I come on, I worked out today) but if I ovd the first time then I am over and definitely ought to be on tomorrow.

    So we shall see...

hi again.. I've got a quick question about temping. One day a week I have to work in a different location so I leave home early. I wake up at 5.15am on that day, and the rest of the week the alarm goes off at 7.15am. Will that cause problems for temping?

Thanks ladies, you are so helpful in answering questions :):)

I would temp at 5:15 every day if I were you. I wake up at 8am every day except 2 days per week when I have to be up at 5:30 am and 6:30am so for the sake of it, I've set up my alarm for 5:30 to take my temp. I find it easier like that. I think if you take your temp at different hour, it will not be accurate.

Not sure why I thought you are CherryDrop! She asked about the BBT :D. Sorry for that.

2bca3c - When should I start taking that syrup? CD1 or just before ovulation? Thanks for the idea!

Ummm, Im not entirely sure. Sexymouse, sexymouse - are you still lurking, can you help please?

:eek: I think I will go insane if I have to wake up at 5:15 every morning... and so will DH! Maybe I will just have to have one day which is out each week, I think I need to preserve our sanity for now...

Am I really cut out to have a baby if I can't stand the thought of a 5:15 wake up call every day?!

If we are still trying in a few months time then I will no doubt be prepared to set the alarm for 5:15 every day of the year :)

On sexymouse's earlier advice... I took it once per day until OV and then three times a day at OV (either after a + opk or when you first get ewcm was the advice I think!)

ETA - I gave credit to the wrong author... it was Nicki's advice about the cough syrup... just found the originalpost, here it is:

'Yes start taking it now, just a spoonful a day. When you get your positive OPK go up to 3 spoonfuls a day for 3 days. If using a CBFM start when you get your first high, up the dose for the 2 peak days and following high and stop when you go back to low again. If not using a CBFM aim to start 4-5 days before you expect to ovulate, as that is when you should be starting to produce your fertile CM, which increases up to ovulation itself, then dries up quickly.'

skintchick - sounds promising... but I wouldn't want to encourage SS of course... LOVE the anti ss-ing, have been doing a lot of that this cycle. Oh, my boobs seems really big..... but that's probably because I have been squeezing and prodding them for about three weeks trying to find a symptom :rotfl:

abis - yes, it's my first month temping (well, will be when the thermometer arrives!). I tried using OPKs last month but didn't get a positive on them, although did have other ov signs including ewcm. Am looking forward to hopefully having a clearer idea of when I am ov'ing next cycle.

one erratic temp a week shouldn't be a problem, just make sure you get 3 hours sleep before hand. You need 3 temps above your average temp to show ov. i've just looked at my chart and i had mainly took temps around 8am but on the odd weekends it was 10am and 10:30am and FF still pinpointed my ov :)

Hiya, re: temping, I would just temp early on 5.15 days. FF will put in a white dot to show it wasn't at normal time, but as long as you've had 3 hours unbroken sleep beforehand it should be accurate.

Oh heck, it's meant to be once a day til Ov time with the cough syrup? I've been taking it three times a day, just had to buy another bottle! Lol

Just had a thought too, if I Ov next sunday (hopefully for a 35 day cycle) then my preceding fertile days would include midweek? Just cos we're away Tuesday and Wednesday night and holidays make DH randy lol x x
