    Any hugs going? :(

Still nothing, now CD39 so looks like another epic cycle. I really thought it might be different this time - tried cough medicine, AC, B vits... thought I'd done everything right but still a stupidly long cycle. Not even a bit of spotting so far so no idea how much longer this will go on for.

Hope everyone's ok. Haven't caught up for a few days so have missed if there's been any news. Hugs to you all.

    Big hugs :A

We're trying to keep it relaxed too but BDing every 2-3 days so there's always fresh sperm available no matter when I Ov. this is what Doctors and the NICE guidelines recommend. In fact if you google the NICE guideline it's quite informative on what works and what doesn't

Studies show that people using OPKs are no more likely to get pregnant than those having sx every 2-3 days but obviously those who find it harder to have frequent sx find OPKs useful x x

Thanks! This is really good to know as I dont want to get too crazy about it all as im a control freak and I know I would be carted away to the loony bin...I dont want to lose the attraction either, I find my OH so gorgeous and I dont want that to go and then SX to just become a chore :)

  • Ooooo can I join pleeeease? Me and oh have just started ttc number 2 and ds is only 7 1/2 months- may be mad but the age gap will be nice. I got pg with ds 1st month last time but doesn't mean I will this time. Sending everyone babydust that needs it :)

  • Tinks I so wish we could get pg by ourselves too sometimes!

There is nothing more frustrating than having to be reliant on someone else's moods! Then again I am a bit of a control freak :p

Zippy sorry you are having such a tough time x

Totally!! It's like they have this inbuilt ability to pick the worst time to be a complete PITA.

Congrats on your DD walking! :j

Natterjack88 Welcome!! Great to have you here, hope your stay will be short and sweet and you'll catch the egg as quickly as you did the last time!
  • Welcome to the thread Mrs Toast, fran-o and Natterjack88 :hello:

    Congratulations walby! :j:j:j

Big hugs to bigzippy and tea lover icon_hug.gif

QQ, fingers crossed for you OVing at the right time! :)
  • Good morning ladies,

BZ - Thats awful, i'm so sorry you're going through such a hard time. :grouphug:

Natterjack - Nice to meet you, i'm still a relative newbie but the ladies here are all lovely. Hope your stay is short and sweet :D

Excited to see all the BFP's (fingers crossed) tomorrow! I'm CD8 today so according to my last cycle (34 days i think) I won't be OV'ing for a while yet, thats fine for me though, not feeling the pressure yet.

I'm off for two weeks from work now so i'm hoping OV will fall around this time so I can just jump DH whenever, he's always happy to accomodate :rotfl:

Downgraded all my services on tv, internet and TV this morning saving me £30 a month :T we never watch all the channels we actually have so gives us more money to throw at debts which is always good.

Plans for today : clean windows & kitchen, vacuum and mop downstairs, mooch around on MSE, watch rubbish daytime TV and cook DH dinner. We have a chicken in the fridge that I MUST cook today, wish I could have saved it for tomorrow.

What is everyones plans for Valentines? x
