I have a shelf in my cupboard that has loads of CBFM sticks that I've labelled as to cycle days and peaks etc. I suppose I ought to chuck them out now. :o It was QQ that told me about doing this, and I must admit, it was really good, as even if I was just on a high on CBFM, I could tell whether it was going to be a peak the next day or not, as I'd got used to reading the strength of the lines.
    Good idea. Thanks Sexymouse.

I've started using OPKs for the first time yesterday :j. So excited having to pee on the stick :D. I'm looking forward to see my 2 lines on both OPKs and pregnancy test :D (...I think.Still try to get my head around the fact that we are officially TTC. I try my best not think about the outcome = baby as it's really scarry ).

    everybody!

Hope everybody's had a nice weekend, my niece was born today which is great news! :j Can't wait to go and meet her, I LOVE teeny tiny babies :)

Welcome Mrs Toast - hope your stay will be short and sweet and you will get your BFP soon!

Walby - that BFP pic is great :) Congratulations again! :j

Massive ((hugs)) to all those with AF at the moment.... hope this next cycle will be yours, and hope you are all treating yourselves to something nice this week. I totally agree with Rumfeeble, always good to treat yourself to something, doesn't have to be expensive, but nice to make yourself feel better!

TeamLowe - the showhomes sounds nice; I think it's a great idea to visualise what you are saving for. We went to look at some kitchens this weekend as we would like to redo the kitchen this year, and it really helped to see some and now it seems worth saving up! Sorry to hear about your horrible dreams, they can be so upsetting :(

Kavics - sorry to hear OH is down and hope he will feel much better soon. Good :money: work with the eBay selling - I love selling stuff on eBay! Just sold my old iPhone for more than £100!

Tealover - hope your dad is ok, sorry to hear he is in not well.

Mrs Happy - good luck for your appointment and tests on Tuesday. Let us know how it all goes, fingers crossed for good news - but feel free to come and rant on here if not.

QQ - how is your MIL doing? Is your brother in law stepping in and helping a bit now?

As for me, CD 37, 19DPO, no sign of AF and BFN after BFN! What on earth is going on?? My last two cycles (straight off the pill) were 30 days and then 31 days, and I had OV signs around CD 18 this month. Had cramping for three days last week (CD 32 - 34) and now occasional cramps and that feeling that AF is on the way, but nothing.

Would welcome any advice or suggestions! Feeling a bit frustrated at the moment :o I've tried using IC tests and also two Tesco tests, all with FMU.

Awww, teeny tiny babies <3<3<3 Love!

So I was kinda hoping I ovulated yesterday, because it would have been better timed AND when i went to the toilet once, I wiped and had a big blob of EGCM - so thought I could have been ovulating at that minute. Could that have been the case? A friend said she had that happen and she knew she had ovulated... I know we are all different, but still *hopeful*

2bca3c - Your EWCM and your positive OPKs were all well timed as well as BD ! It's amazing how our bodies work!!!!

I can barley notice my CM...even if I take a sample from my cervix . My finger is always wet and just a tiny blob of something (sorry for the details). Hopefully I will see some eggwhite soon. I do take EPO as help with the CM (I should stop them once I have a positive OPKs as it not safe after that) but still no luck...

So long story short, if you don't ovulate, your BBT never rise. Sorry for the long and boring post but I though this will help you to see why BBT can be an important tool in TTC.
Thanks for that. I do have a BBT thermometer. Just don't know the science behind it :) I do now.

It is frustrating isn't it? Do you know for sure when you ov'd? Pre-first baby, my cycles were like clockwork. For some reason I assumed they'd go back to how they were, so I was really annoyed when I had a 36 day cycle (used to 28/29 days), and then last month I had 3 days of spotting on what I thought was 8/9dpo. All these things really get your hopes up. Just got to relax and wait it out.

Thanks gizmodo - I'm not temping so can't be 100% sure that I ov'd when I thought I did. I had EWCM on CD18 and then my boobs were swollen the next day - this is what seems to have happened in the two cycles before (around day 16ish). I'm sure AF will arrive at any minute now, but you are right, these things do get my hopes up a tiny bit! Mostly I just want to get on with the next cycle! Am going to temp next cycle so that I can know for sure when I ov.

Just a thought but did you carry on tracking symptoms? Last cycle I thought I'd Oved cd21 and started tracking for pg symptoms. When I look back (in my diary of madness) after period seemed to be a week late, I had the exact same symptoms around cd28 but by that point I was eagerly awaiting implantation and ignored it :o
