it's not really the top as in like a lid (like i always thought it was) it's like, when you look at those pictures, if you was pushing your finger up the side you'd never touch it, it'd just carry on being fleshy vaginal wall. but if you try for the middle if it's the right position you'll touch it. and if you're fertile it'll be hard to distinguish, i first felt it just before my period when it was low and hard, it's like a ball. in fact i think it was only the other month i found it and i've been sticking my finger up there for years too
you can't not have a cervix and i've also never noticed mine until i fancied looking...maybe your partner could help? he might have an idea lol x x

There is a lady on my TTC after miscarriage thread on another forum, who bought herself a speculum on eBay and treated us all to daily updates about what she saw, thankfully not with photos. It was quite funny though, and she actually conceived the cycle she did this, so the hyper awareness must have helped. Previously she hadn't been able to find it and had no idea what she was looking for.
