He's 6.5ft and a very nice person:cool:
They will be living in the UK for now:)
Wasn't this your words?:
Hello = Hallo
Thank you = Dankuwel (dank oo vel) - formal or Dankjewel (dank ye vel) - informal
Thanks = Bedankt
Goodbye - there are many forms but you will hear 'Tot ziens' in shops mostly. It's kind of like, see you later and pronounces 'Tot zeens'.
Sorry = Sorry (yes, really)
Geen dienst = No service (usually shown on buses/trains when they are not in service - a handy one to know)
Ik ben ..... = I am .... (insert name here) or Ik heet (hate) ...... for the formal version
And if you're being really adventurous:
Het was leuk je ontmoet te hebben - It was nice to meet you.
Haha! Yes, that was me! I remember providing some basic words and phrases, but I can't remember much else. Which is typical of me - Can remember some random thing that someone did on the train, but forget what time my haircut appt is! :rotfl:Ruddy useless!
Had to learn a lot of medical terms recently. Most of 'em - in one ear, and out the other! :rotfl:
I'm glad she found a nice guy to share her life withLovely.

I've been Googling like mad since I came back from FS, and it turns out Femara could elevate LH, and elevated LH will over produce testosterone which will reduce the embryo quality.
My LH levels were normal throughout the natural cycle and all the other monitored cycles including normal IVFs. So it's not the PCOS that's doing this (I think), but Femara.
No wonder the doctor wants to cancel my cycle. Bad eggs won't do:(0 -
Thanks for that Fannyanna.:o I know PCOS can play a part in weirdness and I was wondering (though not understanding how) if that was something to do with it. There's also family history of endometriosis, and I was wondering if I might have that at work (they can't/won't test for that just yet, and GP said it's not idea to test for when TTC). TMI alert:I know what you mean about tampons too, I can't use them for more than the length of a shower atm. It's really bizarre this bleed cos it's like I have nothing for a few hours, or whatever, and then it just sort of gushes out (with or without the clots) and fills the pad and feel like I've peed myself or "followed through" or something. It's disgusting.
Wish I had a mooncup right now tbh
I've just had more huge clots and it's gross! _pale_
(can you tell I'm trying to hide my concern a lil bit? I also don't want to be all about me, or minimise real MC sufferers either, sorry guys.:o)
I guess I'll see where I am on monday..."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
Ladies... is a nosebleed a sign of being pregnant at all or am I just SS?0
-
Poor you zippy. If even a tiny part of you thinks this is a miscarriage though, please don't use tampons at all, or consider getting a mooncup until its over. That way a very nasty infection could ensue. The standard miscarriage advice is no tampons, no sex, no baths and no swimming until bleeding stops.0

Thanks kitten_pie. I've only ever had one nosebleed in my life (never been pregnant), and just had one now at work (in a meeting! - embarrasing!). It was just light and just felt like a seriously runny nose, but not the norm for me at all. I googled it, but you seem to find that just about anthing can be a symptom of early pregnancy on the net, so wanted to check with real people. Haha!0

I didn't get much clots on my mc, probably because I had erpc op:o
Had a massive painful AF though:shocked:moneypuddle wrote: »Ladies... is a nosebleed a sign of being pregnant at all or am I just SS?0 -
Thanks Nicki, I hadn't thought about that. I might have a mooch at them (again! I get confused by all the sizes and such!:o) now...
QQ - what's femara/where's it come from? Was it prescribed? I'm sure the FS knows what he's doing, and although it's hard for control freaks such as us, you have to trust that they're doing the best job for you.
Good news from DH though; MIL's doing better today"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0
