I've been to the FS, and they tell me my LH is high (24) so they may have to cancel this cycle:( Don't know how I could lower it but I'll cut out carbs and sugar as much as I can:o

I get heavy AF after mega long cycles too, clotty as well.

Is your LH not supposed to be high, QQ? I thought it had to rise sharply to trigger ovulation. Or is too early in your cycle before the eggs are mature enough? But my surge often comes at CD10 or 11, and I have a 27/28 day cycle.
I hope they don't have to cancel the cycle though which would be massively frustrating and upsetting

Hi Ladies - just popping in to congratulate all the BFPer's and throw some SBD around everyone else.

((HUGS)) for everyone who needs them, and I hope BZ is OK!

Oh how I wish I could join you ladies already. After another heart to heart with OH, he's confident that something will happen with his job (one way or the other) pretty soon. And if it doesn't, his contract runs out April 2013 - so that is the latest time that things will change. He's also dropped his insistence on waiting an extra year if he has to change jobs, so April 2013 is now the 'at the latest' time scale. Of course, I am hoping for earlier!! As always.

QQ - I hope that they don't have to cancel your cycle! Fingers crossed!

I dreamt that my 64 year old mother was 4 months pregnant last night, as she'd somehow reversed the ageing process on her body. I wasn't happy (shamefully), just massively jealous!

Qq the cycle wasn't that long-within normal, and shorter than the last. I don't think there's much chance this was anov with this amount of bleeding

I've spoken to a nurse at my practice (my gp has no slots til wednesday, long story) who happens to be a friend of ours, and also to a nurse at my gynae/fs. The decision is to see how it goes over the weekend and see a gp monday (there's theoretically one I could see then, though I hate him ) if it's the same or worse. In the meantime, if it's worrying or too painful or I get faint, I'll go to the walk in centre She also said to note down about it, see how next one is too to compare, and ask about it when I have my appointment.

Asked dh to get me some iron tablets on his way home.

I'm off for another hot water bottle... thanks for your concern guys

Hopefully your body is having a good clear-out of anything old and unwanted to make next cycle your best yet

Dinner with my family tonight, will have to sit and smile as everyone gushes about SIL being PG... I'm still massively jealous and feel terrible because I shouldn't be so awful Getting my nails done before I go round to make me feel better, and with any luck the rest of my TTC shopping spree will arrive today and I'll feel like we're making more progress!

hiya, no I don't think I've ov'd yet either, not expecting to til about CD20, as that's when I've had definite EWCM before. -ve OPKs on Tuesday and Thursday, not even a hint of a second line. I was just worried that it wouldn't be obvious as temps so variable already.

CM is somewhere between sticky and creamy at the moment, not that much, definitely opaque and a bit gelatinous. Am going to start OPKs properly on Saturday, CD14.

Because I never tested really (i did once and wondered if I saw the slightest tinge if I held it just-so etc etc but thought it was either too early or my desperate ttc imagination, and it could still be!:o) so I'm not saying it is/was +ive/mc, but they both asked questions in that vein. Gp nurse said hcg would've dropped so fast, if it was that, that it wouldn't show now anyway.:o I explained to the fs nurse that as soon as I get any kind of bleeding I don't like to test cos I don't want to know, and she understood and finished my sentence she said it could well just be a really heavy AF this time, so I'm going to assume that's the case for the moment, and hope it's the last big clear out before getting my bfp :)

What's the problem with the lh being that "high" Qq? Hope you get to sort it all in the least frustrating way possible :cool:

Good luck birdie, I'd struggle in that situation for sure. I've a mate with a one year old that I've not seen for probably 6 months cos I can't bear it. She's also one of those that knows we're ttc ing but still moans /tells me to be grateful I don't have to deal with *insert normal childhood/motherhood experience here*/acts like a martyr, so it just makes me want to punch her.:o She wants me to be godmother, or did, but I've avoided/been less than enthusiastic for so long I think she's finally got the hint now truth is, if we moved away, I wouldn't feel any compulsion to see them again, so I don't feel it's fair to take that title from someone who would potentially be there/around more, iyswim?
