  • not had time to read back - am sneaking on at work!! Just wanted to let you know I've been into my local boots today (doncaster) and
  • oops, don't know what happened there!! What I meant to say was they had CBFM for £50 and persona ones for £30 on the clearance section - no idea if this is a good price or not as I've never bought one
    will catch up later

Oh dear, multiquote still doesn't work for me.

Birdie, where did you get your agnus cactus from? Do you have a ling?

    Nicki and TTC40 hugs.

Cleo, I know what you mean. I am now 9 or 10 days overdue and still no period. I have no more pregnancy test left, the one yest said negative. I have a feeling I'm wet and period is on its way but than nothing is happening. I made an app with gp for Sat morning as my blood result is back finally after a month and will ask what she thinks. Just hoping that af turns up by than.

£50 for the CBFM is very good Countrybum, it's for £59.40 on Amazon.

    Welcome MLB.

A friend of mine from Australia messaged me that she was due in May and how happy she is, etc and I should really try for a baby cause it's the best feeling in the whole world, etc. My first initial reaction was to write back f... off, we've been trying but than changed my mind and sent a short congratulations note. Not a good day I guess:(.

Not sure who asked but financially we haven't saved anything for the baby, we have no money in the bank at the moment. We paid off our mortgage last year and currently tackling our investment flat mortgage, in theory we will pay it off by the time I need to go on maternity leave. We are currently overpaying the mortgage by £2k-£2.5k every month. So we will have an extra £600-£700 a month plus I'm due to get 2 sets of maternity pay if I manage to start my maternity leave before September. I guess we are in a lucky position but than we worked over 50 hours every week for the past 10 years to achieve all this.

I just got mine from Amazon, couldn't be bothered looking round for deals etc as it was a bit of an impulse buy, just bought everything from the same place so probably not the most MSE :0

Eugh, sorry about that :( If only there was a filter we could use so that we wouldn't have to hear/read these things. I've avoided my SIL since her announcement as I really don't want to deal with everyone going on about how amazing it all is. I'm wicked. :o

Oh and we've got nothing saved! Well, we've got a share save scheme due to pay out in a few months and it should be a pretty healthy sum which we'll use to buy a newer baby-friendly car and pay off our CCs which will leave us in a much better position. And we'll manage I'm sure, we might have to cut back a bit more and it might be tight from month to month, but if we waited until we were in a healthy position financially we'd never have a baby! :)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

We have nothing saved either. I did have a small savings pot but since we moved house last year it's practically disappeared. We ended up with a lot more costs than we thought we'd have due to problems with the leasehold on OH's old flat. OH still has quite a lot of CC debt which he's now paying off (and doing really well, after years of burying his head in the sand) - but it means that most of my income goes on the household stuff so he can focus on the debts.

It does worry me at times but I'm far too old to be waiting any longer, and at this rate it may never happen anyway.
  • Been to the hairdressers!! I now look like a half bald traffic light!!!

New hair dye bought to rectify half of the problem :/

Kavics I got my Agnus Castus from Holland and Barrett. They've got a sale on - it should have been six pound something, but it was only 4 pound odd
    Prov1 £3392 - Aqua £1136 Vanquis £1500, HM £21, Barclays £680 Payday Loans - £1000 Mother - £770

    Total debt exc mortgage - [STRIKE]£11857[/STRIKE]] £10092.37 . :wall: Savings Pot - £22.50. :o

OK, I’m a bit confused, hope you ladies can help :o Yesterday evening I checked my cm before we went to bed, and I entered it on FF as watery, as it seemed like the best description (ie not sticky/creamy, and definitely not ewcm). It’s now put that I’m potentially fertile (CD10), when I’m not expecting to ovulate until CD20ish.

Just been to the loo and had what looks like ewcm to me, quite clear, sort of gummy and v stretchy. I know this could be bd remains, but is it normally so stretchy – I thought it liquefied when it got inside? I’m wondering if I should do an opk when I get home, although I wasn’t planning to start them until about CD14? This is only my 4th proper cycle off the pill, so it’s possible that everything is still changing and this could be a shorter cycle? *confused*

    Hello everyone:wave:

    Gizmodo, :naughty: for SSing.
Littlezee, well done on losing 6lbs!:T:T:T
    And :j for your DH's SA:cool:
I think the problem is catching ov (and PCOS). Hope they'll give you something like clomid (which should sort the ov issue) soon:)
Oh, and :rotfl: at getting pg with a boy:D
TTC40, fingers crossed the D21 comes back OK, but hugs for AF:o
    smiley_hug.gif
vesper, glad the car is fixed at a quarter of the cost:money:
    Secretdebts, half bald traffic light?
2ba3c, glad your chest infection is gone at last:o
Hope you'll get the metformin, I've never been prescribed that, but it should help with TTC:)
Perhaps next cycle, you could try booking the donor after ov as well?
countrybum, good to see you back:wave:
    Are you really CD103?
mlbarrett, welcome:wave: Massive (((hugs))) for your mc, hope you'll get your forever baby very soon:o
    ikkle87, it looks like a +OPK:)
roses, yes CBFM is still using the other person's data:o Perhaps you could reset it before the next cycle? I'd leave it as it is for this cycle:o
cleofish, fingers crossed you ov'd late and you are still in for the running:o
As for the thermometer, you should start now, so you can see what your 2ww temp ranges are:)
    Flee, (((hugs))) for the virus:o
Nicki, hope your DH has forgotten the time limit:p
Men changes their minds all the time;)
LittleMoog, I'd try an OPK just in case:)
