Fingers crossed for this cycle x

I'm not really sure. Because it's the mini pill rather than the combined pill it might not even stop the bleeding. If it does I think the doctor suggested trying it for 2-3 months. If it does stop the bleeding it could all start again when I come off.

So in short I've got no idea really lol.
Hope it'll stop the bleeding, and you'll be back in 2 months:)

Got a light line on OPK yesterday (good as I ever get), then ewcm today, and generally feeling a bit bloated - so I think we are on for ov and a short cycle this time. I'll confirm tomorrow once I check with OPK tonight again, and then operation bd is back on. We had an 'unscheduled' bd yesterday, so hopefully that is a good start!
    Good luck!:j

We did end up dtd later on, but I think it was more shut-up-woman sex, as wish we hadn't as it was terrible. So can't imagine we are going to be successful this month.
(((Hugs))). Hope one made the great sperm race:o

Quick question about OPKs.. it says on the instructions (I have internet cheapies, the ones you dip, they have a green bit at the top) that you should let the urine come to room temperature, about twenty minutes. Does anybody actually do this? I'm planning to test at lunchtime at work and can't imagine sitting in the toilets for over 20 minutes!!!

Thankyou for such a warm welcome, I feel a little better already. So today I am on CD2 and since AF was late DH might be home from his work trip in time for OV now... yippee.

I just read a free ebook (cant do links, you cans earch for it on the amazon kindle store)

How to Get Pregnant Fast: Crucial Knowledge for Getting Pregnant

and it told me I should be avoiding eating cinnamon - anyone else heard this before?

Anyone else find themselves reading EVERYTHING they can find on the topic?

Thanks Rumfeeble, shall have a look on Amazon now and see if I can post the link.

Yes I read as much as I can on the subject, and watch everything on tv.

I bought the internet cheapies as well, I always wait the 20 minutes, because thats what the instructions told me to do and I (sadly) always follow the rules.

Hello everyone.... sorry I have been away so long.. not that you have noticed other than the 70 day DPO LOL.
I noticed, but I remembered your pic, rather than your username so couldn't ask where you were :o
Good luck with the move :)

I'm ok thanks. Definately not going to be back for a while. Had a doctors appointment this morning and I've been given contraceptives to try and sort out this bleeding.

It's obviously just not meant to be at the moment. So I'm going to re-join weight watchers today and whilst I'm waiting to start trying again I can concentrate on losing some BMI points. My mission is to follow in Bigzippy's (rather inspirational) footsteps :)
Pants about the pill BUT with the incessant bleeding, TTC isn't possible right now anyway so this could be your short cut. And if you manage to get into WW then you could have more stable shorter cycles when you come back off it! :D

Thanks for the hat-tip, I'm honoured. :o And I know you can do it! I have faith! :D

    How's your DH?

This is the link (ETA: Wow you guys are fast!)
I read one book I trusted (What to expect when you're expecting, which has a chapter on pre-conception too) before starting TTC and have tried not to read too much into it anywhere else, as I just feel like everywhere gives such conflicting (and sometimes ridiculous!) advice and I'd drive myself crazy tying myself up in knots if I took it all on, iyswim? Never heard the thing about cinnamon though, no ;)
