Morning Lady Bugs
So I went on a crochet course on saturday had a fab day and am on my way to making a granny square blanket already
Ooooo I so want to be able to crochet. I have a hook and have tried a few times but I just get in a muddle and can't seem to hold the hook and wool properly. There are some really beautiful crocheted items I want to make too."People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0 -

Me too. I love knitting but crochet just seems beyond me. No matter how I hold the wool it makes my arm and fingers ache, but I can knit for hours no problem. Maybe I'm too old to learn a new trick!!0 -
I've never learnt to crochet, but I love knitting too. I'm currently working on a baby papoose/swaddle wrap, that RebekahR posted the pattern for a few months back, for my sister's baby (due TOMORROW! :j so exciting, can't wait to be an auntie again
)
I've also got to finish niece no2's birthday cardie for Saturday when we're having a party at home for her second birthdayLots of knitting for me this week. After I finish those, I'm making a tank top for nephew no2's birthday in march, and then I'm going to start knitting blankets and cardies to put away for our baby

Fannyanna, how are you?
Hey QQ.
How's the natural IVF going?
I'm ok thanks. Definately not going to be back for a while. Had a doctors appointment this morning and I've been given contraceptives to try and sort out this bleeding.
It's obviously just not meant to be at the moment. So I'm going to re-join weight watchers today and whilst I'm waiting to start trying again I can concentrate on losing some BMI points. My mission is to follow in Bigzippy's (rather inspirational) footsteps0 -
hello lovelies
big hugs for those on CD1/in AF limbo, i had about 10 days of that last month so i know how fustrating it can get!
lots of EWCM for me, which made me panic that i didn't O when i thought i had but a quick google says that you get another estrogen surge 7-8DPO and it's estrogen that causes it. we BDed Friday and will again tonight so even if it is O now we should be ok. if that makes sense
i'm finding what i'd consider my 'natural' approach to it all a lot more relaxed than i was last month. i don't think we've done it this month but i'm ok about that, just want next month to startcompared to the last few months when i was driving myself crazy thinking every little thing meant i was definitely pg.
spent all day yesterday with DH's family at his baby cousin's christening. he doesn't speak to his dad anymore so we was both stressed about there being drama but everything went fine, mainly cos no one else is talking to him either lol just made me want babies even more though, cos i really enjoyed spending time with his little cousins, even if i had to stop the toddler several times from drinking my vodka :O lol x xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

i've just got into knitting! was taught the basics as a little girl and decided to try and make a proper go of making things as i need a hobby! lol
i'm making a patchwork blanket, if it's any good it'll be for my neice/nephew due in June, just using it as practice really for doing different stitches and patterns. on saturday i went to a wool shop and bought some wool in a gorgeous teal colour which i've said to DH i'm going to keep and use to make something for our forever baby when they're on the their wayx x

Love the granny squares. I'll try again soon to tackle crocheting.
I do knit.. not big things though as I get bored so I just stick to small things.. I love knitting creatures. I was going to knit the Nitivity (book from Amazon) but didn't have time. Maybe this year. I have just started a lovely woolly sheep for my friends little girls 1st birthday in June.
I want a knitting machine next too so I can do throws and cushion covers etc."People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0 -

my mum taught me when I was a teenager, but I started again when my sister was PG with niece no1 5 years ago. I love making baby things, they're very quick and soooo cuteNow that niece no1 is 4 though, I think I may have to stop making things for her as they take such a long time!
I know that I want to make several handknitted blankets for when we have a baby, as well as a good supply of 0-3 and 3-6 month cardies/jumpers as my sister's have had such good use out of the ones I've made them, so I'm going to start knitting for myself and putting things away. If someone else has a baby in the meantime, I'll have ready prepared giftsLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160
