Then it won't be identifyable as a 12 year old car. Nice old thing to waft about in but I will stick to my 1 owner 1.2 car that gives 55mpg!!

I'm watching a 2.5ltr TDi on eBay that'll do 55mpg and be a lot more fun the drive than a 1.2

mmm for £950 I could get it lpg converted here http://www.autogazpol.co.uk/

that could bring some good savings, and help later retail if I sold it before running to the ground ?

They are very heavy on brakes, bushes and fuel. Mine gets an average of 24mpg and I wouldn't like to be changing the suspension bushes on a driveway (and the parts, non-trade, are pricey too).
Loads of common faults on them, the only one your dodging with that one is the later electric parking brake.
Mine was a one owner (clearly a coal miner who cleaned chimneys as a hobby) and the cream leather interior was filthy but cleaned up a treat. I'd be suspicious of the wear on the back seat, its either a cheapo limo or has had a lot of baby seats in and out.
I'm a convert, they are suprisingly quick (240bhp) and you get a lot for your money, but the faults they have show up their mixed Ford/Jag lineage.
As a nice, clean, good-coloured car, you'd have to struggle not to make a profit on that one.

Only a problem if you are worried what the neighbours think.

After seeing that MOT history I'd be getting cold feet. It would look like it was owned by someone who cut corners and didn't get the advisories seen to until they became fails.

It's also clear that he replaced one rear tyre in 2006 and then the other in 2007! On a RWD car.

I would be wary of owning a car that belonged to this person.
  • No car expert but i'm very surprised by the amount of wear on the back seat, even compared to the front seats.

Looks like the back seats must have seen a lot of action - check for footprints on the inside roof too ;)

I have noticed all 4 tyres are different and not pirellis, if cuts were made there, where else, handbrake for 1 i see...

will see it in person when i get there, but people must have better screens than me, as the seats look clean and other than some sign of people sitting in them, look ok to me.

these are some from a 2002 model
