Not so sure about that, when I was 18 months old, my older cousin was staying with us for xmas, and she got a new pair of platform shoes from santa, she put them on the stairs for safe keeping, and I did a poo in them :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: she was mortified and never wore them

Hi everyone
long time no see
have survived the wedding and the camping with only 1 major crisis, those who are friends with me on FB know that my DSDs insulin pump broke! all sorted and ok, trip to a & e was errrrr interesting, it may be that f2s or whatever they are called learn a bit about diabetics!
Wedding was great.DS & DIL looked fantastic, service was good, vicar was funny, made us practice singing, bit of a hiccup with the music they walked back down to but that will go down in history as funny as we were all POSL as we came out, reception was good, food lovely and evening do very good.
Sorry that I have only been reading and not posting, not very good on moby, so happy birthday, aniv to all I have missed. (((hugs))) for those who have needed one.
So, back to life, back to reality really. Done so many washes since I been back I think my machine is going to turn its back on me :rotfl:
Work very busy, but me and workmate took time out today to do a database which we think will be helpful, can log client calls and make notes, which will make a change from sending what we call knickers emails that cover our !!!!!!, we can log calls and its there!
hope everyone has had a good evening and cyas soon! xxxxwhoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

Yeah! Often. But as you get older you get a bit more subtle. I have relayed various embarrassing stories to new girlfriends over the years, and enjoyed watching him squirm. His children quite like hearing them too!;)I believe that friends are quiet angels

Woohoo internet been connected 2 days early :j:j
Feelign much better now, popped in chemist on my home as I was so fed up of feeling rotten and he gave me some travle sickness tablets to try. They have taken the edge off the spinning sensation, but I do feel a bit like I'm in cotton wool. My dad has offered to come pick me up for my acupuncture appt tomorrow as I'm not up to driving that far (bout 45mins).
Got car back from garage, not fixed, new part is around £400  don't think my car is worth having it fixed. However my car is atill safe to drive (the steering is just a bit harder than normal) so I am going to stick with it for now til i find something else.
When I got in I headed straight to balcony and sat in the sunshine for 2 hours, then my flatmate cooked me tea

My brother was born when I was 18months old. I apparently hated him! He had one of those baby bouncers that hang from ceiling, and i would spin him round and round til it was tight and then let go :rotfl:, I was also once found pushing him out of the cat flap! Bear in mind at that house our nearest neighbours were 10miles away :rotfl:. My parents bought a playpen then, for his safety!

I have some rhubarb in the freezer and some ginger syrup in the fridge that I improvised for some recipe a while ago.
I have the urge to put them together and make jam. Am I right in thinking that if I cook the rhubarb and chuck in the same weight of sugar, plus my ginger syrup, boil it up for a bit (obviously at the right temperature as I have invested in a jam thermometer) then I will have jam. Or am I missing something?
I might give it a go tomorrowJust about to sort out my clutter....honest!:rotfl:0 -
Ohhh these stories reminded me of my friend - he was so upset about his little sister being born, he went to their neighbours ( a farm about 1 mile away) and swapped his sister for a piglet!! The neighbour realised what was going on an returned the baby (obviously) but only after my friend showed his mum his great bargain!Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

After going to sunday school and being told about moses being found in the bullrushes, I told my little sister we found her in the river thames and bought her home so the rats didn't eat her, she had nighmares for months and no one knew why...............
she was born at home and I can remember hearing a baby cry, asked my dad whats that, he said its your new sister, went up to bedroom and asked my mum when was she getting breakfast, she said she had hurt her back looking into the cot so could not get up, well, that was a good start :rotfl::rotfl:
Also used to spend most of any money that was given to me, sister didn't, i used to say to her I know lets put our money together and share it, this went on for a long time before parents realised
Have to say though, my DD was great when DS was born, she was like a little mother hen, he was a very sicky baby and she was forever going round saying sick gain, got cloth....although she was a bit rough with the cloth lolwhoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine
