and another one up early :o even ds woke at 7 which is almost unheard of for him :o:rotfl: he's sat watching good old thomas.

not sure what the weather is doing today. i look out the front window and its sunny but look out the back its cloudy :rotfl: so think it will be a chill out kind of day. not a lot to do around the house for a change. maybe a trip to the park if the weather holds.

taking some chicken out of the freezer for dinner but not sure what to do with it just yet.

bitsy - you sound really fed up lately so have some smiley-love005.gif

have a good day all :)

Morning everyone. Free hugs and thoughts for people who need them.
It's a gorgeous day- woke up at 7.30 and logged on to se when my AF delivery is due. Need to check after 9am, apparently. I'm waiting to see if I can get on of the £10 credits forthe RedSpottedHankie website- I seem to spend my life on trains, so I'm hopeful.

Today will revolve around sorting out my latest CS bargains, finishing my purple knitted top, perhaps attacking the oven, and monitoring the DW , as it is a Bosch which apparently is at risk of bursting into flames. Got a service booked for thefirst week in September, which is the first date they could fit me in. I'll put on short programmes and watch it like a hawk, as advised by the CS team.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Anyway. time for another cuppa.

    Morning

Bright and beautiful here this morning, should really be getting dressed so can hang out washing - but instead I'm sitting with a cuppa watching Ben and Holly with my tiddlers and catching up with you lot :rotfl:

Feeling moderately virtuous this morning as before sitting down with said cuppa I actually emptied and reloaded the d/w, emptied and reloaded washer, and put bread maker on!! Wow, that's almost a whole day's work:cool::D

Outlaws arriving mid afternoonish, and got dh and kids at dentist before that, so will pop to Li*l and stock up on 'posh' cereal and milk. Then got to make lasagne x 2 (meat one and a veggie one), and that will be tea sorted.

Hope all you crazy sleepers have a good day and a better night tonight, fingers crossed for all exam result expectees, and happy day vibes for the rest of you :D

    Lumpy x

    Morning all,
My aches & pains have returned still have a wooly head and have lost my voice. Dh gave me a huge hug and told me to stay in bed but I can't rest for thinking of all the things I could be doing, so I'll stay on the sofa and sort through paper work.

I had a letter from the Taxman saying they are fining me £100 for not doing my tax return for last year. I DID do it online as well as DH's tax. Phoned several depts and was told on the 8th call that there was a glitch with hundreds of returns online, I now have to send reams of tax forms, copies, expenses, and proberbly my shoe size and appeal. I will have to get all paperwork out and do tax return all over again so that will take me most of the morning whilst feeling carp. :(

DH wont have to work on DD1's bathroom until Monday as the plastered walls need to dry out, he's loaded DW & WM and said he will cook dinner. I've some lamb shank casserole cooked so just have to get them out of the freezer, bless that's his idea of making dinner. ;)

DD2 & DGD2 are coming to see us this afternoon, no worries about them catching what I have as I caught it from them.

REDRUBY, where did you get the tiles from and did you have to pay for p&p ?

So many on here are fed up/ poorly/ or not sleeping, mmmhh wonder if it's because Autumn is looming and the nights are drawing in. I think the weather has a lot to do with it.

((((((((( hugs to everyone ))))))))) need one or not I'm sending them. :p

    Hello All,

Thought I would start posting on this thread again, it has been quite a while.

I have cleaned out the washing machine today so hopefully it won't stink as bad. Will also do a 90 degree wash to make sure it smells normal.

Have a hospital appt this afternoon which we are dreading.

Made a lovely HM pizza last night which is easy and tastes delicious.

Hugs for everyone that needs them x
