Hi everyone
I will come back and speak to you soon, but reading the first part of the thread about cats, I just wanted to tell you my cat story.
I took in 2 adult male cats when a friend moved, they also had a sister but apparently they didn't really get on with her:eek: so she went to another friend.
Anyways, they did everything together till one day Marley just vanished (we did find his body months later) the remaining cat called Pillsbury suddenly thought I was his long lost mother, I couldn't go to the loo without him sitting in the bathroom at my feet:eek::D He had to sleep on the bed with me and howled if I tried to get away!
Going to work in the morning was an art, I had to make sure he was asleep on the sofa and sneak out. Otherwise he followed me down the road and I had to take him home. One morning he was no where to be seen but I was pretty sure he was in the house somewhere. Left for work, for the first 10 mins or so checked he wasn't behind me. 1 mile later across very busy roads I am at work, went in, made a coffee, sorted post etc, opened shop door and there he was sitting on the step:eek::rotfl::rotfl:Luckily I had a very good relationship with a local taxi firm and put poor Pillsbury in a cardboard box, called a cab, gave the cab driver my keys and he took him home for me.
Due to my changing personal circumstances I could no longer cope with all this, so I rang the local cats protection place and sobbed down the phone to them, they came round and said they had just the place for him, with an older cat that was going blind, I used to get updates and photos from his new owners and he looked after the old cat, when the old 'un died, they got a kitty and he looked after that too, he died about 18 months ago and I miss the emails from him, (his new owners always wrote as though the emails came from him):rotfl:

Hysterical stories about toddlers. I could write a book about my eldest. When his brother was a baby I let him help me bath him - as the books say you must. I tidied up the bathroom afterwards and went to check on the baby who was in his crib by that time. His big brother had managed to strip him off and was powdering him vigorously with Harpic. (All cleaning materials were kept on the top shelf of the airing cupboard, in case you were wondering.) His other exploits included, pulling the handle of the pram down to the ground and letting go - it was an old fashioned high pram, creosoting the car, getting the lid off a large tin of white gloss paint and painting the new lounge carpet, the dining table (antique rosewood), the inside of the windows as far as he could reach, and all the cutlery which had been on the table ready for lunch. Finding that his brush wouldn't reach the bottom of the tin he then poured the rest of the paint out into a puddle in the middle of the carpet and rode his little ride-on tractor through the puddle and through the hall into the kitchen and back again. This horrific scene revealed itself to me as the front doorbell rang announcing the visitors who were coming to lunch. This was all before he was 3 years old!
Strangely, he survived to adulthood and is now a reasonably mature and responsible 42 year-old.
As for me, time has healed the wounds but will never completely efface the scars.
I very soon learned that if everything was quiet for more than a couple of minutes I must run like hell to find out what he was up to. Happy days!
Nothing OS going on here today - a constant stream of unexpected visitors once again made a nonsense of all my plans.
Good luck to all waiting for their exam results.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Dazi - lovely story
well that was a cheap night, i got stood up! I think my friend got the wrong pub! I suggested the pub thats not my local as my friend usually hates it there, plus my social recluse thing i got going on, i don't want to go there. So i went to the other pub, texted her to say my phone was dead and i'd see her shortly, but she never showed! she sent me a FB message asked where i was so assume she was in the other pub! nevermind, I'll put the money saved in the wedding fundAnnual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500
